I think you have to go with the 2007 squad for a couple reasons. As said already they had great leadership who had been starters for a couple years compared to this team who has more first year starters. Also Josh Connor was healthy last year and has been hurt this year, but that's only if we take that into consideration.

Holy Cross and NCC are in the same situation but moved up to 2A two years ago.

What I had heard was that they play Belmont every year, but this year Belmont had a conflict in playing next week so instead of just not playing it at all they decided to play it on Saturday.

I believe he is one of the few seniors on Cooper's team if I'm not mistaken.

You're absolutely correct they could start Eastin and throw the long ones with Roenker. Last year Eastin hooked up with Norris and Ziegler frequently in jv games on quick passes ranging from 5-25 yards because he is accurate in his short game, but just doesn't have the arm to throw it much farther. But of course we just hope for the best with Walker

I think it will be a close game for the first half, but the Indians will be to much for the Cats and will pull away from them in the second half. Although Newport has been playing good football as of late and the Indians can't come in overconfident.

Well the way i understood what the referee was saying is that the tight end's were lining up to far outside of the tackle box to chop. My question is how are these kids supposed to know if they're a half of a yard to wide to where they can't chop someone?

Why do you think Holy Cross is going to have a down year?

They still have to play Newport for the final seeding game next week. If they win they are the two seed and if they lose they are tied for second seed with both Lloyd and Newport.

Yes he was a fine linebacker last year and the loss has been a big blow for the Indians defense this year. :thumb:
