  1. This game is always a good one and I don't see this year any different. I'm going to go with Beechwood scoring with under a minute left to take the lead and win by three.
  2. I had completely forgotten about Quainoo it's tough to distinguish who the best running back is because you have different cases. Quainoo gets around 25 to 30 carries a game and puts up big numbers, while Simspson gets around 15 carries a game and puts up big numbers. The questions are would Simpson be able to be as affective running the ball twice as much as he already does, and would Quainno be able to get his numbers in half his normal carries? These comparisons can be made and that's just one example so it's hard to say who the best really is.:thumb:
  3. I think this move is overdue. My question is why would you go out and get Quinn last year (A potential franchise QB), and then start Anderson who is also young and could have become a franchise player if he would have played well. I think with getting Quinn in the first round last year they should have started him and went from there instead of starting another young guy. Do you think it was just because they wanted him to get experience or what?
  4. Really you don't see Ives in there at all? I see it as pg. Shover, sg. Ives, sf. Maile, pf. and C between Counts, Isler, and Wellbrock. Then I see Sorrel as the 6th man off the bench.
  5. How do you guys see the new starting line-up with his return?
  6. I agree a very good hard nosed runner, but I would still take Simpson over him in all of NKY.
  7. I'm gonna have to go with Lloyd by 2 or 3 touchdowns
  8. Florida is rolling right now.. if they win out with that momentum they will destroy Alabama.
  9. Cats are gonna win it all this year. HA. Im just playing, but they did move the ball around well and shot well at times. Harrellson, Miller, and Liggins impressed me. I though Jodie and Patrick hustled and didn't even notice any post-injury signs.
  10. I just referred to jv because someone else had and I just wanted to add that into the mix, but I do agree the speeds of the game are very different.:thumb:
  11. Ok sorry I was just responding, but yes I have heard the same rumors that he has been at practices.
  12. I agree completely there is nothing anyone can do about it because of where the schools are at. It's the same situation in the 35th district in the 9th region where either Holmes, Cov Cath, or Holy Cross is eliminated in the first round of districts when they are consistently a top 6 or 7 squad the whole year. The last couple years HC hasn't gone to the regional tournament because they have had to play either the number one team or number two team in the region first round of districts. Anyways sorry I got off topic I was just showing another example.:thumb:
  13. What makes this make HC's chances go completely down the drain? I think it does make it harder but not completely down the drain. Cov Cath has two players who have proven themselves on the varsity level and other people that will have to step up who played good in jv last year. HC has One proven person in Giwa on varsity and 3 other people who played only Varsity last year as Juniors coming back. Also they will have the return of Mike Sullivan who saw extensive time his sophomore year but was hurt all of last year with a broken hand. Lastly HC jv beat Cov Cath jv last year so if you are going to say they have a lot of jv players coming up then HC does too. Now I'm not saying HC is definately going to win but it's going to be a close game as long as both teams play like they can. I don't know why people are counting them out before the season even starts when they have experienced players coming back.
  14. Looks faster then that I was thinking possibly 4.4, but I don't know anything official. Who was the player to track him down?
  15. I think it should be: 1- Bama 2- Penn State 3- TTU 4- UF 5- Texas
  16. Where is the Chick-Fil-A bowl held at? Likewise the Outback bowl?
  17. I'm pretty sure Cov Cath had everyone except maybe Counts that game, but as you said we'll have to wait and see how it plays out.:thumb:
  18. Yes but the point he is trying to make is that is it fair that BB, CC, or Scott will be sitting out of the regional tourney when they are better then another team in the regional tourney. I agree they do work just as hard and should be rewarded but I just think that the districts should be more even. JMO
  19. Didn't HC beat Cov Cath and Boone JV and only lose by around 5 to Holmes JV. Just something to keep in mind.:thumb:
  20. Harrell has all day to throw. But how do you pass rush a team like TTU, they need those bodies playing DB. A defensive coordinator's nightmare. I still think McCoy is the best QB.
  21. With his speed and size he could be a deadly safety.
  22. Is he getting looked at for safety or running back in college?
  23. I didn't know you shaved your armpits. (#22 says to #84)
  24. Who did well for CC and who have been their leaders throughout the year?
