Alright let's look at HC's schedule. They played 3 six A teams in Ryle, Simon Kenton, and Cooper, 2 five A teams in Holmes and South Laurel, a tough 4 A team in Knox Central, all of their 2A district teams which includes 2A power in New Cath, and lastly 1A power in Beechwood.
That schedule is without a doubt one of the toughest in 2A, don't be fooled by HC's record as they played almost all of these games close. Also if we look at like opponents we have- HC over Newport 13-6
Desales over Newport 24-12
HC over Carrol County 56-3
Desales over Carrol County 30-15
If you are going to use the excuse of Carrol County not being able to pass due to the conditions then you could say Newport could fall under that too. The passing game is the only thing Newport had on HC as they held them to well under 100 yards rushing for the game. Also HC didn't allow Carrol County to run the ball at all today.
I understand if you take Desales as that's your opinion, but for you to say Desales will blow HC out "given the facts" is just an untrue statement.
