The finals of this tournament was played at 2:45 today. The best two teams here is Holmes and Seneca. Holmes will skate through the rest of this field. they are in charge. The Holmes vs. Seneca game was really fun to watch - great dunks and great outside shooting and team work by Seneca. Holmes shot 33 free throws in this game and Seneca shot ten. Holmes physically outmatched their opponent today. They will do the same the rest of the way.

Looks like Holmes will have the inside advantage again. How will Pittman and Masters match up? Pittman has turned into a beast. His confidence is high.

Masters hasn't been a starter, unless he started vs. VM. Maybe Gary Forrest is moving him into the starting lineup to try to match up, size-wise.

 

Oldham is still a work in progress.

I really don't want to disappoint people, but I saw almost every game today, and this one tomorrow will not even be close. I thought Villa was going to beat Oldham. Holmes is just way too much for anyone else besides Seneca. And,....Seneca should not be over looked later in the season, they are for real.

Oldham isn't what they used to be. Forest is still one of the best coaches in the state, but they don't have the talent that they did 4-5 years ago when they were winning regional titles and competing for a state championship. Holmes should win this one going away, but all you fans who haven't seen Dunlap for OC are in for a treat. The kid is a player.

Anyone who saw all of the teams yesterday and saw the way Holmes dominated offensively against Seneca, knows that nobody else in this tournament should come within 20 points of them. There just isn't anyone who has the size or athletes to match up.
