Who was the best Player from your High school ever???

Recent or back in the days, Who was the best player from your high school that has ever played? or Someone that you saw play?

Most definetly, I seen him play one night he had 56 points, that was before the three point shot, and most of shots would have been three pointers!!!!

John Turner from Newport back in the days was a pioneer for high school basketball. Went on and played for Louisville and took the Cardinals to the final four.

West was a good player for the Tigers went to a few camps with him, Craig Bricking and Tony Ross.

Conner is a tough call.

 

You've got Tony Faehr, Rick Hicks, and Ralph Parton from the 70s.

Scott Thomas in the 80s.

 

I'd say one of those 4.

What about Dave Cowens, he played for New Cath back in the 60's. Then went on and played for the Boston Celtics!!

He wasn't the best player on his team, and he'll tell you that. He was a great rebounder and very athletic, however he blossomed at FSU. For NewCath, from my memory of b-ball there, which is very limited, 90-present I'd say John Brannen.

At Covington Catholic, I'd probably say Roger Tieman.

 

PJ Thelen did have a few NBA tryouts, though. But, much like Cowens, Thelen blossomed after his high school playing days.

From what I recall seeing, and going back a little further at NCC; I'd say Tony Sandfoss!!
