Sounds like the Breds might be ready for the big 6A Campbell County Camels power football attack! Especially, Since they tweaked their defense and moved some players up into the game! Just to many holes in that old 3-8 Read pass Defense! Good luck to the players and coaches

I do agree with becoming a better tackling team. that's the reason why the Breds need to get out of the 3 man front with 8 players reading and reacting. Why not bring 2 or 3 of your linebackers up and blitz! It works for Beechwood and Cov cath. No disrespect to the coaching staff, these guys are great! That’s why I can't understand why they don’t try different defenses.

There may be a lot of disappointed NCC fans right now. But the season isn't over. The Breds took a 3 hour drive down to #2 team in the state 1A Raceland and actually played them tooth and nail for 3 Quarters! But until they change that defense and bring their linebackers up into the game and run some stunts, IMO I really don’t think they can beat a good team. They have only won one big game in that Defense in 3 years. No disrespect to the coaching staff these guys are great and do a good job! But I think it’s time for a change! Good luck!

No disrespect to the coaching staff or the players but I think you might be right! And that’s more the reason why it’s time to try some different defenses, maybe a four man front or get your linebackers up in to the game and blitz and run some stunts! The defense might be a little more aggressive! Good luck boys

So your saying that if a team is running power football right down your throat that it’s OK to stay in a 3 man front with the other 8 players reading and reacting?

The Cougars looked good tonight Congrats coach Rash! But not so much for the Breds! No disrespect to the players or coaching staff, but most of the time especially on defense the boys are not playing aggressive their waiting for some one else to come up and make the tackle, they don’t seem very motivated or maybe it’s the 3-8 read Defense they play with linebackers 7-8 yards off the ball. Just can’t seem to stop the power run or the pass but still will not come out of that 3 man front defense! And I do understand they have a great coaching staff and that’s what they believe in and I respect that! But IMO just a thought, it might be time to try some different defenses maybe some stunts or some blitzing, like some gap integrity and put some pressure on the QB and making something happen instead of setting back reading! When was that 15 -20 years ago? And I’m not saying it’s a bad defense, but you have to coach with the talent that you have! And IMO they don’t have a chance to stop a good team with a 3 man front with your linebackers 7 yards off the ball and everyone reading! No disrespect to the coaching staff them guys do a great job! It’s just time to let go of the old timers defense and get your players up in the game and play aggressive and maybe do some blitzing! Maybe go get them instead of setting back reading and reacting!
