  1. That's why I said it's a roll of the dice because Holy Cross has beaten New Cath, Ryle, and Newport who are all ranked ahead of them, but have also lost to Holmes, St. Henry, and Brossart who are ahead of them..... This is true for many teams.
  2. I guess that loss to St. Henry moved them back about 6 spots.
  3. 2-14 is a roll of the dice. :deadhorse:
  4. That's true, but you still see mostly A schools in the sweet 16 so I don't think it has made that much of a difference.
  5. This year they are close, but year in and year out the 42nd is the best in my opinion.
  6. Yes, I agree but if HC could get 100 students to come out even just one night I think it would be a blessing . I think what HCfan1 was referring to earlier is that they can make it happen with 15-25 fans. Now, obviously more students will be there at the Cov Cath game just because it's a bigger game and the history of it.
  7. Well actually Holy Cross has right around 450 students, both boys and girls. Cov Cath has 500 BOYS which usually get out and cheer more and louder. Don't get me wrong there are some girls who can cheer very well, but it is more likely for boys to cheer over girls. IMO
  8. Dixie by 9...Dixie- 65 Lloyd- 56
  9. I think that it might be better for the Bulldogs if they were to lose before the post season, because it's just really hard to go undefeated in the 9th region. Not saying it's impossible as it has happened, but it's hard.

  11. That's awesome to hear as I know these kids put a lot of effort into it and I just hope it can continue after the Seniors and Juniors are gone because those two classes are what have brought this section up last year. It should be a great one to watch on Feb. 6.
  12. I agree especially with Calvary Christian just winning the all "a" for the 10th....But still have a ways to go to be near the tops as you said.
  13. Yea I didn't think about it that way, but that's why they have the all "a".
  14. I think that the KHSAA needs to step in and make every district have seedings.
  15. As I have said I think it could be done fairly easy just as the all "a" is done. :thumb:
  16. I agree that the 42nd is by far the toughest with usually having three top 15 teams in it, but I didn't add any of the 7th region districts because I don't know about any of them good enough. Also, I added the 35th because it usually has three top 5 teams in the 9th region.
  17. Good argument and you're probably right, but I was only saying this so that it wasn't just the all "a". :thumb:
  18. Well the way I look at it is a lot of the bigger teams play in tournaments around this time of the year anyways so why not make one for all classes and keep the big one.
  19. What do you guys think are the toughest districts in the state. I know two that come to my mind right away are the 35th with Holmes, Cov Cath, Holy Cross, and Beechwood as well as the 42nd with Scott County, Bryan Station, Henry Clay, and Sayre....What do you guys think?
  20. He is related to him and I agree, but I'm just saying what I have heard which are rumors.
  21. Are you sure Jaylan plays for two teams? I know he plays for St. Augustine 7th and 8th grade team so he would have to play for two teams to be on both. Also, I heard some talk of him going to Dixie but of course that was just rumor so I don't know if it's true, but that sure would make them stronger.
  22. I'm pretty sure I'm the one that told you CC would pull this one out :sssh:...Stinks that CC is in the 37th or else I think they could make some noise in the region.
  23. I think it would be a good idea to do this along with the regular state tournament....I think you have all of these tournaments the same time the all "a" regularly is...This would allow for class champions and a main champion.
