That's why I said it's a roll of the dice because Holy Cross has beaten New Cath, Ryle, and Newport who are all ranked ahead of them, but have also lost to Holmes, St. Henry, and Brossart who are ahead of them..... This is true for many teams.
Yes, I agree but if HC could get 100 students to come out even just one night I think it would be a blessing . I think what HCfan1 was referring to earlier is that they can make it happen with 15-25 fans. Now, obviously more students will be there at the Cov Cath game just because it's a bigger game and the history of it.
Well actually Holy Cross has right around 450 students, both boys and girls. Cov Cath has 500 BOYS which usually get out and cheer more and louder. Don't get me wrong there are some girls who can cheer very well, but it is more likely for boys to cheer over girls. IMO
I think that it might be better for the Bulldogs if they were to lose before the post season, because it's just really hard to go undefeated in the 9th region. Not saying it's impossible as it has happened, but it's hard.

That's awesome to hear as I know these kids put a lot of effort into it and I just hope it can continue after the Seniors and Juniors are gone because those two classes are what have brought this section up last year. It should be a great one to watch on Feb. 6.
I agree that the 42nd is by far the toughest with usually having three top 15 teams in it, but I didn't add any of the 7th region districts because I don't know about any of them good enough. Also, I added the 35th because it usually has three top 5 teams in the 9th region.
