Dixie vs. Lloyd 1/28

Featured Replies

Colonels come to Scheben to play the Juggernauts in a 34th district matchup. Any thoughts on how this one goes down?

It will be a close game thru three quarters then Dixie pulls away...Dixie wins by 12

Dixie by 8 :thumb:

That's how it always seems to happen.

After losing Eflin Tyler and Cradock off last years team, Lloyd was suppose to be down. But the scores that I am seeing they have been competitive this year. Who does Lloyd have??

Lloyd has 6 seniors: The ones Returning from last year include Randy Tackett Zack Craddock and Curtis Oberschlake. They also have two players that took a year off and have come back to play, Jordan Colvin and Jordan Washington. Another asset added to their team was a transfer from Ludlow Scott Dunne. Sophomore Donnie Cheatum plays a big part in this team also. The team has experience, but they are still working out kinks to get the best play they can as a team. They have shown a competitive nature in a lot of their games, but seem to let up a little early, and not really put four quarters together just yet. However, that is what the season is for.

On this game though, I see Lloyd coming out and putting Dixie to the wood. Lloyd has lots of talent, it can be seen in their games, but they don't always choose the best ways to use their talents against the other team. Under the circumstances, district game, rivalry, and the fact that Lloyd absolutely hates Dixie, the home atmosphere should be great and this Lloyd team will begin their statement to the district and the region here.

Looks like we are going to have to wait for another day...game cancelled

Why do they absolutely HATE Dixie?

I see Dixie winning by 9.

Has anyone else noticed that Lloyd only has one real JV player. Four of the starters on Lloyds freshman team start on the JV team as well. Does anyone know why? Is it lack of sophmores or juniors?

I'm not sure, but I did notice that when Lloyd played Holy Cross.
