What do you guys think are the toughest districts in the state. I know two that come to my mind right away are the 35th with Holmes, Cov Cath, Holy Cross, and Beechwood as well as the 42nd with Scott County, Bryan Station, Henry Clay, and Sayre....What do you guys think?

Yes, I would agree on the 42nd, it is hands down the toughest district in the state.

I agree that the 42nd is by far the toughest with usually having three top 15 teams in it, but I didn't add any of the 7th region districts because I don't know about any of them good enough. Also, I added the 35th because it usually has three top 5 teams in the 9th region.

Right now, it's the 42nd, hands-down.

 

Two other awfully-tough districts are the 27th (Ballard, Seneca, Trinity) and the 28th (Eastern & Jeffersontown).

I'm not trying to compare this one with some of the ones already mentioned but the 37th district with Scott, Campbell County, Brossart, Calvary Christian, and Silver Grove is by far the toughest district in the 10th Region.

Interesting. No Male, St. X, and Manual in the 25th?

42nd hands down. It's hard to believe that two of those teams don't even make it to regionals when there are two districts with three teams. I don't think you should be able to bye to regionals.

The 45th might not have any state ranked teams in the district, but take away KSD and between Garrard County, Lincoln County, Danville, and Boyle County, you'd be hard pressed to predict who is going to the regional tournament.

You also have to throw in the 25th, 27th, 28th, 35th, and the 37th.

I agree especially with Calvary Christian just winning the all "a" for the 10th....But still have a ways to go to be near the tops as you said.

Top to bottom, the 27th would take it based on the performance of the two lowest teams! There will be no easy first round game and at one time the top three teams all ranked in top 15

 

Scott Co > Ballard - Ballard has improved, although so has Scott Co.

Bryan Station= Seneca - I believe Seneca beat them in the preseason easily

Trinity(15-3) > Henry Clay(12-9) - Trinity with only one bad loss to Ballard
