Pioneers played sloppy, but good. Especially without Tolliver.

Do you have an ax to grind against SK?? You haven't had one good thing to say about these boys who have made history for their school. NO Duh, Male will be favored as they are one of the "Big Three". But guess what everyone else SK has played has been favored as well. Get over your grudge and be happy for this Northern Ky team.

They have Nikki Brown who got some good minutes last year and will come off the bench this year for SK. I think Simon has a deeper bench than many might think but the 3 seniors from last year will very well be missed.

I agree with this one more than the other one. (on the players rankings especially)

I believe they did Saturday agianst Rowan County. Not positive though.

Are you just completely forgetting Dixon?? She was the 2nd leading scorer to Hargett last year and continues to improve. Dont get me wrong the freshman are good players but i wouldnt go as far as their best players though. I agree on the struggling part. They are young but will improve over the next couple of years.:jump:

You are right. It will be Wainscott at the point, Tolliver at shooting guard, L. Figgins at the 3/4, Smith at the 3/4, and C. Figgins at the 5. :ylsuper::thumb:

Seriously, aren't most coaches hand picked to coach their respectve teams by a search committe. Do you know the circumstances that Coach Stowers came to Simon Kenton. We had a coach in place that left right before school started and took a job in Cincy. Jeff stepped up and took over and the rest is history. The only transfers we have had either moved from other states (she did not start and moved again) or moved into our district(from Williamstown and decided to concentrate on Volleyball). We play with the hand we are delt.

I think you might be underestimating Miss Wainscott. Not saying that Brown is not a quality player but Sydni too got a lot of huge minutes not only all year but also in the SK state game as well. I just wouldn't overlook her. She can make some plays. IMO. :banana:

Brenden Stowers and he may be better than a lot of "Head" coaches!!!!

New uni's are quite expensive. But, they are on schedule to get new ones next year.

I dont think that WV will make any noise this year, but down the road yes. From losing all those seniors last year there isn't anyone to go along with Dixon. She is a great player but wont be able to carry the team by herself. As for Williamstown, with West and Wilhoit another year older their year will come but I doubt it will be this year. IMO.

I agree he didn't do anything but it is hard to get yards when you don't have anyone blocking at all.

Gotta go with the Devils. Like it or not NKY football is much tougher than most other parts of the state so 0-4 doesn't mean that much. NKY has had 0-4 teams go on to win state. Dayton will be physical.

Funny since Morrison graduated in 2001. Simpson on the other hand had 85yds on like 9 carries. My public school math tells me he should have carried the ball like 30 times with over a 9yd per carry average.
