I just heard this morning, from a very reliable source, that the AD did in fact let her husband go as a coach and Coach Burger resigned to spend more time with her daughter. Coach Richey would be very fun to watch.

Congrats on your school board doing what it should do, have great academics. Is that not the goal of every BOE in the state?? Obiviously the football program is a priority or else they would not be paying the Head Coach 100K, through various positions. That is my only statement. All factual.

Tough night for the rollercoaster Pioneers. Last night went as the season went up and down. This Pioneer team played hard and just couldn't get over the hump so to speak. As to previous posts about not dominating the 8th. If the current realignment had taken place in the '90's, I think the Pioneers would have a couple of trips to Rupp under their belt. Is this the same JCHS that just got smacked by the KHSAA for some sort of violation within their football program?? If so we really know the priority of the BOE down there.

No real athletic players have you actually seen them play or just seen box scores???? I have one question who do you not guard from outside besides Wormald #44 (sp)? 4 of Simon's 5 starters can bury you from outside and everyone that comes off the bench as well. Simon went through a slump earlier this year with losses to Conner and NDA. I doubt that would happen now. As far as having a starter out Simon has had two out all year in both Figgins girls. They both have started since 8th grade. One with an ACL and the other with a back injury I believe.

Sounds like either you haven't seen them play or you have been blown out by them and it is sour grapes. And sure they will go far in the region it is all the way down at Shelby Co.:banana:

One question, I thought this thread was about Simon Kenton and not Highlands or Beechwood!? People may be calling Miles Mr. Simpson before his career is over. Both he and the Hansel (sp) kid have D1 size and potential. (Note I did not say they were D1, only they have the potential.)

Any stats?
