I wouldn't go as far as best all around player. Don't get me wrong, she is good, especially for her age but as of right now I wouldn't call her their best all around player. But the girl can flat out play. IMO if Dixon wasn't in the mix Sandlin would be hands down their best player. But the wonderful thing about basketball is it is a team sport so individual rankings dont matter, team rankings do. :banana:

Final. Both teams played extremely hard tonight. It looked more like a football game for awhile in the 2nd half and then got back under control. Ponzer hits 2 late free throws to put the Pioneers up by 3. Tolliver had 19 and Smith had 10 points 11 or 12 boards and 6 blocks for the Pioneers. I believe Sandfoss had 20 for NCC.

I agree it is still really early to tell, but I'm pretty sure the pioneers wouldn't have a problem with recieving the trophy now. Crazy things do tend to happen at tourney time.

Very well put. Money has to be an issue with a public school coach moving into this position. I may be wrong but the retirement does not transfer either way. And unless any of these public school candidates are independently wealthy, I think that it would be a difficult move to make. A non-teacher would not suprise me at all.

I dont know about anybody else's opinion but that had to of been the worst game I've seen SK play all year. And I havent missed a game. IMO. :confused:

Brown is still out, who will benefit the team well and L. Figgins is fighting to getting back to 100%.

I believe there is a conflict with Highlands and SK's schedule or else they would be playing this year. Meaning the open dates don't mesh.

NEERFAN, it was at Holmes and Holy Cross request that we are no longer playing them. Also, the new coaching staff at Scott called coach Marksberry early in the year to resume playing. They may change their minds. Coach "M" is looking but it seams no one wants to play the Pioneers. Unlike when we were in school and everyone was lined up at the door to play us for homecoming. I know my senior year out of 5 away games 4 were homecomings. It seems that when Coach calls people for games they want to know if Simpson is coming back and then they are not really interested. It will be interesting to see who he comes up with to play.

I cant remember off the top of my head but I do know that without the first quarter SK would've won by 6.

If the Pioneers play a good first quater they win this game. Congrats to Tolliver on breaking the points record for Simon Kenton.

I never ever stated that the outcome of the game was determined by the officials. I do wear blue colored glasses but not to that extent. IMO if the official had thrown his flag on the first hit on Simpson out-of-bounds maybe the hit on Lawerence would not have occured. Like I stated before I was 2 feet away from the hit and I don't care what the Louisville chain crew has to say. It was H to H period end of story. And the "Missle" attempted to hit the Bustle kid the same way later in the game. Leading with your head is a danger toyourself and others. That is why there is a rule against it. Supposedly a point of emphasis. My problem is more with the officals that refused to call the first obvious late hit on Simpson out of bounds. After all it is not a foul unless the official calls it.

Happened 2feet in front of me and I can assure you it WAS helmet to helmet and was the 2nd time that was attempted. He tried to hit Simpson earlier and Miles ducked it and he still hit him in the white. (Should have been a flag on that but officiating in this game should be another topic.) The third time 47 lead with his head our team physician said something the the joke of the head linesman on our side. Please, you don't have to injure someone to get your D1 scholarship. They are way too good to be doing things like that.

00 fouled out sometime in the 4th I believe. The ratio was like 10(Sk)to 2(rock) until the refs started calling fouls on the rockets. :creepy:
