Who is your biggest disappointed/surprise team so far?

In the 16th it has to be Morgan CO. as one of the pleasant surprises. The Lady Cougars lost 4 starters basically. 3 to graduation and their best 3 point shooter before the season tore acl. Lost 5 players total that included valuable leadership. In addition, they lost their 2nd leading scorer after the first game for a few weeks and after all of that are 3-2 with big district wins over East and West Carter.

Surprise Good: CAL. They are a great team but nobody expected them to be THIS good. With wins over Montgomery, Mercy, Clay, E-Town and Marion County CAL has announced themselves as a title contender this season.

Surprise Bad: Lexington Christian. They are still a great team, but they have been below expectations thus far. I dont think anybody thought they would have three losses already, and get beaten handily by E-Town and Notre Dame.

BAD: Butler was lucky to escape Simon Kenton this weekend and then beat around the rest of the tourney. GOOD: OKAy, I'm an SK fan and I think their showing at LCA tourney was impressive since they have two starters still healing on bench. Should have beat Butler and lost by 8 to E'Town on a horrible 1st QTR.

Who are the two kids who didn't play?

All of their kids played, at least I thought.

They started:

Wainscott

Ponzer

Tolliver

Figgins

Smith

and came off the bench with

Figgins

Blevins

and a couple of other kids

who are the kids that are missing?

Brown is still out, who will benefit the team well and L. Figgins is fighting to getting back to 100%.

E-Town almost looked not interested in the game after getting up 20. Simon has all their big guns right now. That being said, give credit to Simon for continuing to play hard. They have a very nice team and will be a force in the 8th.

Who is Brown?
