bugatti Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 What does Simon Kenton need to do to improve in 2008? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.
Cougarpride99 Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 What does Simon Kenton need to do to improve in 2008? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive. Simon Kenton has the best Running Back in the district in Miles Simpson and a great O-line. There Defense needs improvement but i can see them being one of the top teams in the district if not the top team.
kyvince Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 I heard one of their Freshmen RB's transferred to Beechwood. Is this true? Is so why? Was it playing time concerns with Miles Simpson only being a Junior Next year?

I also heard he wasn't happy with the way he was treated in his short time on the freshman basketball team. These are just excuses, as he has been rumored to be transfering even during the freshman season. His presence won't be as missed this year as in might be in a few. He would have been 3rd string RB next year anyways.

If Miles keeps his FOCUS , He'll be the man for the next 2yrs in NKY !:thumb:

I don't know about this year but I'd say he will eventually be a starter for Beechwood, that is if he pans out the way he is supposed to.

He will more than likely do something Simon Kenton won't do the next 3 years. Win a State Championship!! This kid is good enough to play. I'm sure he weighed his options to what 3 schools were the best fit for him. And Beechwood was the winner!!! Now it's up to Cory to decide how good he wants to be

I though SK players had some mail box's in Ft. Thomas ! I guess they're going for the sure thing , with B-Wood in 1A !!!:thumb::thumb:
birdman5 Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Josh Conner is the man next year. He will be the best running back in N KY
Red Heat Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Josh Conner is the man next year. He will be the best running back in N KY Josh will be a very good RB next year ! But I think Miles will be the man , He has the D-1 size and speed package ! I don't think there's anyone else with both in NKY next year .

Red Heat Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Conners has the line. Will Miles? I think most of their line was Jr's and Soph's last year , if anyone can help out on that . SK I think was a young team last year all the way around !
pioneer568 Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 SK's line will be losing a three year starter in Tony Turner, center Tyler Skaggs, tackle Tyler Rabe, and I believe guard Mitchell Clayton. I am pretty sure they only return one offensive lineman, but they will also get Hansel back from an ACL injury.
