Wow. Camels can't do it when it counts. That has to hurt, considering the way they've been playing of late.

It is amazing how inconsistent some of the NKY 6A teams are this year..I thought Campbell would win for sure..:confused::confused:

I thought a lot of people were underestimating SK when they picked CC to win and win big. SK is a good football team..inconsistent to say the least..but still a good team.

Agreed. If they could put together a decent passing game then they're pretty good actually.

Miles had another big game on Offense and Defense.Big INT. to save the game for them toward the end of the game.SK defense looked really strong tonight.

SK's defense was the key to this game, they were all over the field tonight. They held a 15-0 lead until late in the 4th, then it got interesting. Campbell had the ball 4th and goal inside the 5, and SK was flagged for PI in the EZ, two plays later the Camels scored on a keeper. SK then got a first down and lost about 7 yards on their next 1st and 10. On 3rd and 16, Lawrence threw a pick and the Camels took over in SK territory. A pass to Bishop and a face mask later Campbell looked to be back in business. The Camels were in the RZ, and SK applied some pressure, Campbell's QB threw the ball up for grabs in the back of the EZ, and Simpson pulled it down to preserve the win. Congrats to coach M and his players, they were solid tonight, HC is next, then a bye and onto the playoffs.

I completely forgot that SK hadn't had a bye week yet. I wonder if they are glad that it is this late in the season or not. I can see where it gives time to rest and heal but also you would like to be going in without a two week layoff between games.

Congratulations to Simon Kenton on a big win! This one must have been a surprise as most were picking Campbell County.

It's an odd week to have a bye, but it will give the SK coaches a chance to scout Lafayette. They play Trinity that week, so it may be difficult to handicap.
