I'm not sure either, but I wish every sport would pick the same date and if it is January 1st that is fine. I understand sports are seasonal I just wish I could grab 10-12 kids around age 5 and have them play all sports together until they started figuring out what they really want to play or if sports just isn't for them. My oldest was born in late November so January 1st would benefit him playing against older/better kids, but I get that some wouldn't benefit from that.

Either that or I knew long before you did that he was terrible. He gets a pass from the organization b/c he has a good history. I'd argue a lot of people would have a good history with those guys though. You didn't even think he mis-managed the clock when it was clear as day last time we talked about this. He almost always messes up the clock. The funny thing is the fake FG isn't even talked about very much yesterday b/c he kept on messing up after that.

Why all the Marvin talk and not Hue? Yeah Marvin blew it too, but I am under the assumption Marvin trusts Hue and lets him make the play calls. Also, it is pretty clear that it was a run call and Andy read the man to man press coverage and chose to throw it. It's on all 3 of them.

This is easy to say now that I've seen the replay dozens of times, but if he hands it off not only is it a first down it may have been a TD. There was a huge hole and the receivers all had one on one blocks to make to spring it. I think he would have needed to make one guy miss. That being said the worst case scenario of handing it off or throwing a deep out made it clear as day Andy made the wrong decision. It is actually fairly simple.

I agree. Going for the throat is fine. Do it after you pick up the 1st down and you probably win the game. They had the ball on the 32 yard line with a little over a minute left and 2 TO's when Arizona had none. They ran 15 seconds or so off the clock with 2 in-completions and a completion while running out of bounds. The loss falls squarely on the shoulders of Hue, Andy and Marvin for that. They never once considered running clock in a spot where it had to happen. Agree on AJ. The narrative is slowly coming around that he melts in big games more than Marvin and Dalton.

There is zero chance he was really saying that. Mainly because there was less than zero chance of a run play happening with 6 seconds left and no TO's left. Pecko got caught and it cost them 15 yards. His excuse after the game was either a lie or he is dumber at understanding simple stuff than Marvin and Hue.

If you don't get the 1st down running the ball there it is still ok to kick the same exact FG but with 40 seconds less on the clock.

Kind of useless. The Cincy casino will no longer be named the Horseshoe and Caesars will have nothing to do with the casino within the next 6 months. They filed for partial bankruptcy protection or something like that and they dropped the 2 Ohio casinos as part of that.

I would love for him to be the next Bengals coach. His success with Alex Smith and Kap make him seem pretty able to do it at his next NFL stop.

There are 3 AFC undefeated teams. Denver plays the other 2 at home. So the absolute most there can be is 2. If Denver splits those 2 games it's down to 1. I think I would rather be them with 2 home games than the other teams that have to go there for the game even though they have 2 and the others only have 1 game.

Sucks to be 7-0 and not really in all that great of a position to get a 1 or 2 seed. NE's schedule is really easy outside of 1 game.

One of the dumbest things I have ever seen. You do realize that they ran out of time and not downs right? I think Marvin can be criticized for a lot of things, but making them use that TO and kicking a FG to make it so a FG doesn't tie them isn't anything to be criticized for.

I think Burfict is done playing meaningful football and it has nothing to do with his head. He told some people at we were with at the Horseshoe a couple months back that he didn't think his knee would ever be back.

Having kids that are just starting 1st grade and kindergarten I'm starting to look to future basketball options. What leagues do kids play in if they don't play AAU and how young do they start playing more than just a school team? My son is playing little colonels and school this season.

Man. I was actually thinking of putting a bet on them to win the Super Bowl today until I saw this post. They are better than Indy and Denver to me, and those two are pretty much locked in as the 4 seed and either the 1, 2 or 3.
