Coach Schrand has taken a lot of shots from some people on here and elsewhere. He has made 3 straight regional tournaments and both sons will finish with over 1K points. Pretty good hire IMO.

A couple things. It's comical to believe the number 15 player in the country got $100K from Adidas but numbers 1-14 got $0. I am almost certain the FBI being involved in this is a bigger waste of time, money and resources than the DEA going after marijuana growers and sellers. It might be a tie though. Dan Wolken, Clay Travis and Matt Jones don't even think the crimes that have been presented so far are federal crimes. They haven't gone after tax evasion so I think they're right. There is a rumor that there are 10 more sealed indictments that might blow this up even more next week. Just rumors for now though.

The time it would take to coach baseball would make it almost impossible to be available during the busiest season for real estate in NKY.

Did the principal call the AD and say you have no say in this matter? Did the principal call the coach to fire him and the coach asked for a face to face meeting with the principal, Meeks and Kozerski and the principal turned that offer down? That's the rumor. If that is true how is that on the AD? If the football coach is making all the sports decisions by running straight to the principal I have a hard time blaming the AD.

The irony of the Fogt's daughter throwing a 12 strikeout complete game for St Henry the same day this news broke was great by the way.

In the last few years they have lost out on Freedom Fogt and now Chip Gregg b/c of the wishes of a teacher's husband with zero prior softball experience and the football coach. Kind of sad. Those 2 would have been really good long term answers there.

Totally agree. He has seemingly gotten better over time. Makes sense that would happen. How he so far has handled the pen is how it should be handled.

I agree. I would think it was lost confidence and not wanting to get fouled. You could be correct though that he could have been told to kick out after the misses. Some of the misses I'm not exactly sure how they didn't go.

So if Beechwood and HC should make the region half the time should their AD's and all basketball staffs be fired every few years for not making it 50% of the time. You said they have a 50% chance at making it. That's entirely false. 50% of the teams make it, but CCH has a better than 50% chance to make it and you're kidding everyone if you say otherwise.
