Assist has got to be one of the most important stats for an stat for a point guard. No offense but an average of 3 is below average.

Tough loss for Adair Co, the way the game was called went against us for sure, but we had our chances to win and didnt comeup with the plays. Ballou had 21 pts and 14 rbs. The little guard for Danville had a great game. Leonard Macon he plays for our rival Taylor Co in our district, he is 0-3 against Adair Co so far.

Wow, I quess Boone Co isnt all that I was making them out to be. Not being to shoot from the outside will kill them.

Boone County mades a statement

Nelson Co is doing better this year than expected. It is still early, but Bardstown has a ways to go to get to where they were last year. That being said they havent lost in the region and will be contending for the trip to Rupp.

Interesting, so would you favor Boone or Highland when they meet at Highland next monday?

How big of a gap is there between Highlands and Boone, Cov-Holmes? I assume that Highlands is the 3rd best team in the 9th.

1st Qtr 15-11 N.H. 1/2 time 25 up 3rd Qtr 44-38 N.H. Final 53-50 Greg Johnson 19pts, James Berry hits a cpl of big 3 pointers late. Cory Helm led Adair county with 18 pts about 5 threes. Ballou with 14 points alot of rebounds. The Trojans biggest lead was 11 pts, Adair Co's was 3 or 5 pts in the 4th Qtr. The Indains had alot of turnovers especally early and missed alot of free throws that they would usually make. North Hardin got alot of put backs. Great game could go ethier way if they played again.

Brewer and Sheeran for LaRue county. Brewer starts, Sheeran gets alot of minutes and may start at some point. Both of these freshman are small guards but very talented. They should play in the sweet16 someday, but may depend on if LaRue Co will have any size to go with these guys.

Not sure if they started, but Darren Ballou and Nick Fudge played as 8th graders for Adair county.

I would say that the gap between #1 Holmes and #2 Boone Co is closer than Boone and the # 3 team. I think alot of people are too hung up on how Boone county end thier season last year. It will be interesting to see how the 9th region plays out.

Is Pittman a D1 Major at the next level? It also seemed like to me that D. Miller coasted at times. Hopson even more so. Nice to hear that Pittman does not do that.

If those teams are as good as advertised then we have only till the end of the month to have an idea when they will meet, with the Sweet16 draw coming then. EC is almost guarnteed a spot and Holmes is the big fav in the 9th.

They already got two loses so that part is proabley safe for the 04 team you mention.

There is nothing wrong with an 8-0 stretch especially in twelve days, congrads. But some of the scores make me go mmmmmm?

Cov-Holmes, Scott Co, Jeffersontown and the other schools that would beat Elloitt county (not my words) oh and not CAN beat them cause the list would be too long then. But my question is how many miles do those schools travel to an opponents home floor? Too much time for me to lookup, but you guys have an idea and be honest.

Dont have any stats but Boone county out rebounds and shoots the Indians. The preseason polls missed the boat by not having Boone Co in thier top 25.

Who knows what all the father said to the coach, seems kind of harsh that the son cant play at all now. The coaches go thur alot with parents like this, dont know all the details and we proabley never will, but in this case I think you got to support the coach.

Cox would of made it if based on points, he played three games and avg 31 points. I do wonder who did the voting? He should of made the team. The did throw him a bone and he got the Spirit award.

I wasn't there, but I find it hard to believe that Chase Cox (Taylor county) didn't make the team! I dont know what they go by but he had the stats. Was there really 15 guys there that outplayed him?

The Cardinals were down 10 at the half. Chase Cox lead them in their lost with 27, Macon 18 pts and 17 rebs, according to the radio.
