I hope Hood makes it but dont think he will. If any from the Junior class makes McDonalds AAT they will have to pick it up a couple of notches. Hood made his big move between soph and Jr year, for a Jr to move up that much between now and senior is asking alot.

Honestly Adair Co doesnt have any real impressive wins this year. Taylor Co a district rival is proabley the best team we have beaten. We beat Jon Hoods Madisonville team, but they have a losing record, Louisville Central who is better than they record, Allen Co Scottsville none of these teams ranked. This North Oldham game was been our biggest margin of victory, but you cant really count this game they had players out and the Ref did miss alot of calls against N. Oldham. I hate that it happen, but it was all thier own (ref) doing coach Fudge or the team (AC) did have anything to do with that. If we had different Refs calling the game better, Adair County would still shoot alot more freethrows but the game would have been closer. North Oldham's coaches filed a complaint if they thought it cost them the game, and proabley should have anyway.

The 5th region has as many good seniors as any region this year, even the 7th and 11th, yet there are several missing from this list.

Holmes leds the poll 53% to 47, I'm suprized that Boone County is getting that many votes. I dont know if it is wishful thinking, pulling for the underdog? But I voted for Boone Co also. I was impressed with them beating my team (Adair Co) by 20 pts the last two years, plus I think Cov-Holmes is due a loss and Boone Co is the best team they have played since earlier in the season.

Adair Co Ballou 31, Fudge 11 Oldham Co Foley 12, Feyquay 9, St.Julian 6 Tough night for Oldham Co, they had cpl of boys out with injury and some calls didnt go thier way. The Indains jump out to a 17-1 lead and was up 44-24 at the half.

I think of Elloitt Co has the little school and underdogs against the power schools, they are easy to root for, but a game like this makes me feel bad for Whitefield who truely is a underdog in this game.

Who ever wins the lower bracket is going to earn it! Tough

The AP does a good job on the top 10 except I just dont think Ballard is that good. But I think the computer does a better job 15-25, the AP has 19th Russell Co 20th John Hardin, I dont know how they got that.

Bardstown lost Cory Hall who's 3 pt shooting can't be replaced. He was just as valuable as Jordan Hickman. Also Logan Edelen an inside player who I thought started, if he didnt he got alot of minutes. But they will proabley be more atheltic this year. One of the best teams in the 5th region.

I saw somewhere that Euton was 6-8 3pt, 7-9 2pts, he shot the ball great and I dont remember him missing 4 shots. Adair Co just didnt have anybody tall enough to guard him at 6'8 and shooting mostly from the outside, 6'3 is our tallest after Ballou 6'7 and he had to stay on the inside with Phares, who he did a good job defending. Turnovers and Euton's shooting kept the game from being competive. Adair did some good things though, rebound good against this bigger team and was alittle suprized that Darren got that many blocks on Scott Co, but Ballou is a top 10-15 player in the state.

One of the games at the Laurel Co Hoopfest tonight. I am going with Boone Co, if they have hopes of competing with Cov-Holmes then they need to show they can win games like this.

I have just seen Boone County at the Lex Cath tournment, they have no outside shooting, they didnt really attempt many. What's the deal with that? Maybe the couple of games I saw was an bad example. Dont get me wrong they are a good team.

I think Elloitt Co. is a top 5 team, but why did Elloitt County not follow thur and play in the King of the Bluegrass tournment. Before the KOB started the JoeB and Denny Show had someone on from the KOB and it was brought up that Elloitt was invited and accepted, but then cancelled.

This win will put Scott County at #1 in the computer polls (Cantrall & Litinhous) and if Cov-Holmes struggles any will put Scott Co at the top on the polls you vote.
