mcpapa Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 1. Holmes 2. Scott County 3. Eastern 4. Jeffersontown 5. Bryan Station The Top 20
Baseballguy Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Looks good to me. Would probably swap 6 and 7 though.
sidelinedoc Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 I would probably have Elliott County in the top 4, jmo.
mcpapa Posted January 22, 2009 Author Posted January 22, 2009 May be a good time to utilize one of the new smileys...
tezzyrice Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 EC not in the top #5. This thread should get hot quickly.

mpspencer63 Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 (edited) I would move Elliott County to 3rd. Edited January 22, 2009 by mcpapa R12
scorekeeper Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Ah... as an Elliott fan I am more than okay with it. Most agree that polls are subjective. It's just amazing to see my team mentioned among the elite! I'm thankful for vicarious living!
Wireman Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 As an Elliott fan, I am very honored to have my little team from the mountains in the top 20, let alone the top 10. I just love watching these young men play the game the way its supposed to be played. There is nothing better than watching a group come together to make a whole that is much better than the individual parts. Especially when you get a group of teenagers together that are willing to give 110% in every game. I am very proud of this group and will be there supporting them at every opporntunity :thumb: The rankings look outstanding to me :thumb: The group that puts these together are really on top of things and produce the best rankings anywhere to be found, IMO.
Your Daddy Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 The only thing that continues to baffle me is how Mason County is 11 spots ahead of Franklin County, when they lost to FC head to head on a neutral court. FC's only loss is to Holmes at Holmes, with a starter and the #1 guy off the bench not available for the game. FC plays Scott County on Tuesday night so I can guess we will see if they are legit or not then.
IMOM Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 I'm glad the boys from Sandy Hook got to experience the Beach Ball, just wish they would have taken their show to more places of Kentucky. Then maybe we would have a better gauge on them.

Then maybe we would have a better gauge on them. If they can squeak out a victory over a very tough Rose Hill squad tomorrow night, the state will get to see them in action at EKU soon. They'll have potential matchups against two top 20 teams there. :thumb:

Wireman Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 A Shelby Valley matchup could tell us all a lot about both. If it plays out as it looks on paper, the winner of that game could potentially play Hazard, if I'm not mistaking.
