I agree with this, Elliot Co may have a little beef with it but I think this is the most accurate poll I have seen in a while.

 

All "A" should be a dandy.

The AP does a good job on the top 10 except I just dont think Ballard is that good. But I think the computer does a better job 15-25, the AP has 19th Russell Co 20th John Hardin, I dont know how they got that.

Ballard has 5 top 25 wins this season including a win over a top 5 J'town and only lost to Holmes by 2. They are solid, trust me.

 

Russell Co and John Hardin aren't ranked 19th and 20th. They just got enough voting points to be mentioned.

I like ballard, I like there style of play. I have seen them play twice and they are a very solid team. If they are hitting from outside they can be very very tough to beat.

They're 19th and 20th in the same way that teams that are 2-3 spots out of the top 25 in college polls are considered to be 27th & 28th. You just extend the ranks out based on the same criteria you rank the top 10 teams (by points). What IS concerning is that 3-4 misguided souls think they're part of the top 10 teams, since that's the only way you get points.

 

Record is the only reason those teams were there, and the good news is that following their losses on Monday (Russell County to Cumberland County & John Hardin to Central Hardin), they aren't likely to be ranked there next week.
