Wireman Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 I'll be there as well :thumb: Congrats to the Ads.
PurplePride92 Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Great game. Burgin showed a lot of heart tonight but Danville was just too much. That pressure defense was too much for the Bulldogs. Jacody Taylor had 13 straight points for Danville in the 3rd quarter. I think he ended with 22 points. Kruz Warner had a great game also as he, Jacody and Duran Elmore dominated the Burgin backcourt offensively and defensively. Great win for the Ads. Congrats and good luck in Richmond.
LCPATS Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Nice win for the Ad's. The All A is a fun tourny to be part of.
gchs_uk9 Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Ads will meet the 9th Region winner on Thursday night at 9:30, the last game of the first round. Newport and Newport Central Catholic play tomorrow night for the championship. Wonder where Coach Yates is spending his Saturday evening?
gchs_uk9 Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Nice win for the Ad's. The All A is a fun tourny to be part of. It really is. By the time you get to Richmond, most of the teams are pretty good. The atmosphere is great, fans are on top of floor, and most schooos/counties bring their entire populations!

gchs_uk9 Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 You going to head up 52 and catch some of this action? Maybe, but not the Thursday games. Garrard is playing Southern at Berea College that night. The Friday night quarterfinals look better anyway (and no GC game), with Elliott and Shelby Valley potentially playing back to back at 8 and 930.
UnderPar Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Congrats to the Ad's. I will have to say I was pulling for Don Irvine to get this win. It would be so awesome for him but the Ad's earned it!
Mack The Knife Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 We'll see you there, as Bardstown won their game tonight as well. :thumb: I will be there, Jim. Staying Thursday and Friday.
Hardwood12th Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Congrats to Danville on the win and to Burgin for a great run.
coachi Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 I listened to the game. I have seen both teams before as well. Danville is one of the top 5 teams in that region, as far as I am concerned. And Burgin isn't overrated. They are not bad, just not much depth. Guards are tough, not skilled in comparison to Danville's. Both teams know what they are doing.
5thIndian Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 The Danville coach Yates, where did he play ball at?
