mcpapa Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Good win for the Cards on the road; good job by the Flyers to keep it close. Who stood out for either team?
16thBBall Fan Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 A lot closer than I figured this one would be.
inthesuite Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Congrats to Scott County, Franklin County is a very tough place to play!

He was a beast on the boards.
5thIndian Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Sounds like Scott Co struggled a little bit.
sportsfan2008 Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Heard a parent confronted an official after the game. This should never happen at any level.
sportanalyst$ Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 The atmosphere tonight was like that of tournament time. I hope these two teams meet in the region, it always seems to come down to the wire with these two.
cch5432 Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Franklin is a legitimate team. Isn't Scott County technically the worst team they lost to?
doomer Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Franklin is a legitimate team. Isn't Scott County technically the worst team they lost to? They have lost to 15 nationally Holmes, 16 nationally James-Dewitt by 6, 8th ranked in New York Wings Academy by 1 and now Scott County by 8. I don't believe any of them are weak sisters.
gchs_uk9 Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Franklin is a legitimate team. Isn't Scott County technically the worst team they lost to? I know nothing about their two opponents in the New York Tournament, Jamesville DeWitt and Wings Academy. I do know that they now have two in-state defeats, losses at Holmes (70-48) and at home to Scott County (76-68). I guess you could leave this game saying Holmes and Scott County are the two best teams in the state and no one would argue.
