My point exactly. You just listed Scott County's 3 best players. In my opinion, Euton is 4th on the team. I have watched them play 4 times, and I have thought that everytime.

I didn't say he wasn't a good player, I was just giving a rundown of what I saw last night. On the flip side, isn't it a good strategy for opposing coaches to emphasize that Euton be guarded closely beyond the arc?

Hey, I think Franklin County has proven they have a very good team and is competitive with the top teams. Scott County is very good and just has a lot of weapons, I don't think there are many teams that come close to what Franklin County did against them.

They played 5 guys most of the minutes last night(Phares, Guyn, Euton, Jackson and Manning) Flannery played about 2-3 minutes, and Ford played 2-3 minutes. That was it for Scott County.

Which is going to hurt them down the stretch against a good team who can get them in foul trouble.....Ford and Flannery are good but are a considerable drop off compared to SC's starters.

Early in the year I didn't feel like they were playing hard a couple times, but here lately every time I have seen them play they have played very hard.

 

Also last night Ford played a pretty good amount. Probably a quarter. He usually plays more. Isaiah Ivey is another freshman who typically gets some minutes, but I didn't see him in the game last night.

I'm from Scott County and I would have to agree with Eta, if anything is gonna bring Scott County down its gonna be there lack of depth. However, those first 5 are so good and if they are really playing hard they're gonna be tough to stop.

 

As far as last night goes, I think both teams looked a little sluggish from not playing an actual game for over a week. While some of the posters are right, there is a chance that Franklin could knock off Scott County along with a couple other 11th region teams, there's also the possibility that if Scott is playing there "A" game they could run over the region by 15-20 in all 3 games.
