No, the parent needed to keep his mouth shut in this situation. If he wants to discuss with his son he should wait until after his kid comes out of the locker room after the game. I agree it was short lived and handled very well by the BBHS administration.

No!!! The decision to have school or not to have school is not impacted in any way by a sporting event at Brossart. There are numerous times Brossart has school with private transportation when the County is called off. However, Brossart did not have school today. The 10th region games are scheduled to resume action tonight as Mustang previously posted. Hopefully, you will get a chance to make it to NKU's Regents Hall and watch some basketball tonight.

Should be a great game. After watching both teams play I will have to give the edge to Deming. The extra day off due to snow will allow them to rest their bodies and come out in full force. Deming can score quickly and in bunches. The King boys have been impressive; however, I am really impressed by the way Caldwell handles the ball. With the extra day off the edge might now belong to Deming/Bracken Couty winner since the lower bracket will be on their 3rd game in three days.

Why is Scott in this regional tournament? They just won the 37th District Freshman tournament and will represent that District in the 10th regional tournament. Also, Simon Kenton is not in the 9th region. Do all NKY teams get invited to play in this tournament or does someone pick which team participate?

I respect your opinion however I totally disagree. I had no Gold warm-up, never was given anything to drink and my son was taught how to play basketball. As far as how it worked out I guess you would have to ask my son. I know I enjoyed watching him play at Rupp in the State tourny for the Camels. This thread is about what the Camels need to do, not what happen in the past. I agree that a quality youth feeder program is needed for success. I have nothing but the greatest respect for Coach Code. He spends countless hours for the good the of Camel program. Given time he will have the Camels back on top. Right now there are other teams in the 10th that are much better then the Camels with potential D1 players on the roster.

Again, good luck to Calvary at Richmond. They deserve to represent Region 10 in the All A. Hopefully everyone will get back on this threads topic. If you want to discuss BBHS as an All A school please start your own thread on that topic. I am sure you will get some responses.

This year the coaches are suppose to enter their poll picks online each week using SIDStats. The poll is only open each week from Sunday 7am until Monday 2pm. This weeks poll is open 1/4 (7am) until 1/5 (2pm). Maybe as the year goes along more coaches will become familiar with posting their poll picks online and the number of coaches making picks increases.

I have never seen the kid play but if Coach Code and the gang feel he has the talent to play at the next level now then so be it. It is good to know that the future Camels have such talent coming their way. I feel that the current Camels should be very strong and have a good chance to win the District. They can compete in the Region, however GRC looks hard to beat this year. But as you know that is why they play the game. Looking forward to catching some of the games this year. Good Luck - Camels.

There are 1920 seconds in a regulation high school game. If a team had to shot every 45 seconds that would be little over 42 shots for both teams combined if each team held the ball until the end of the shot clock. I can not recall seeing many high school games were both teams did not put up a combined 42 shots. Last year the team I followed played 28 games. That is 53,760 seconds. The team attempted 1246 FGs. That averages 43.14 seconds per their shots. Throw in the other teams attempts and you most likely would average 20-25 seconds per shot. BTW, this is not a team know for a run and gun style, if anything this is one of the more patient teams on offense. I see no need for the added expense at the high school level. Until you start to see a large number of games where there are less than 42 shots attempts why change the game. I am sure if you look at the shot attempts compared to the amount of time played for most high schools the average time to shot would be less than the proposed time limit. There are already enough rules and things that can go wrong in a high school basketball game with the officials, timer, and scorer. Why add another issue.

I am sure that there will be some restrictions to where the first round games (District champion) can be played. I can not see a first round game at some of the small class A schools. I would rather all the first round games be played at the Campbell County Middle School with the semi's and finals at the new facility when the 37th host. That way I could see all the regional games.

I am from NKY and I have to agree with you. If the team I support is in the regional tourny, I will drive no matter where it is at, if I want to see the game. If you don't want to drive a long distance to watch your team play then join the other casual fans that in todays environment listen to the game on radio or the internet. Just quit complaining about the driving time. You most likely didn't drive to the game anyway.

First of all congratulation to the Camels on a fine season. Good luck to GRC in the next round. I am a big Brossart fan but I think you're going a little bit out on the limb when you think just because they have former Mustangs on the staff is why their program turned around. I think Coach Scott Code coaching style is what help turn the Camels around. Back to the thread. I was unable to attend the game last night. I listened to the end on my phone. Heartbreaking loss for the Camels. With another year under Coach Code, the Camels will be a very disciplined team and the victories will fall their way. Look for them to make noise in the 10th Region next year. Hopefully the Camels will not have to wait 30 more year to claim a regional title.

You are kidding yourself if you do not think that Coach Carr and his staff knows nothing about Augusta. Don't be surprised when their coaching staff starts calling out the plays that Augusta is attempting to run. I am sure by Thursday night the Augusta staff will also be will aware of what Scott does. Seeing both teams play multiple times I will take Scott by less than 10. Guard play will carry them and the bigs offset each other. Staggs for Augusta will still have a good game. The kid just flat out plays hard. I do agree with you that this is one of the better draws for Augusta.
