I do not know either. Maybe that is why it is not considered. However, if you are going to start using the smallest 125 schools then you should start considering the smallest schools by boys and girls. It would be unfair to have a school with 500 students (200 boys and 300 girls) not have the boys team be included in the tourny when a school with 450 students (250 boys and 200girls) have the boys team get invited based on a total enrollment of students. Maybe the adminstrative burden place on the All A Organization is not worth the time.

Is it going to be the smallest 125 school in top 3 grades based on the prior year enrollment according to KDE? So would that mean the 2008 KDE numbers will be used to determine the field for 2009? Does any consideration go into the fact some schools are all boys or all girls? Seems an all boy school or all girl school that would fall into the smallest 125 would have a big advantage over a small school that is coed. This could also go for a school that has alot more girls or boys in their school. If a school has 2-1 boys to girls or girls to boys this should be considered also. It would make more since to have the smallest 125 schools based on the number of boys (for the boys field) or the number of girls (for the girl field) in grade 9-12 since that is whom primarily is playing on these teams.

Since this thread is about this years Camels I will discuss this years team and leave the rest for another thread (which has already been beat to death). The Camels need to take better care of the ball. The guard play is one of the weaker points of the team. As far as defense. It will take awhile for all players to develop into excellent defensive players. Until that time those who are better at it will need to step up to assist. Part of helping out on defensive does not mean coming to the assistant of another teammate and fouling. Also, there are many reasons a coach benches a player. Just because he scored a couple of baskets does not mean it should be left of the floor. If he is not playing defensive or running the proper play he should come out. I am not saying this is happening in the "Nerl" case because I was not at the game. The average fan has no clue that a player has done something wrong on the defensive side or failed to run the proper play. BTW - Good luck to the Camels tonight. I picked the Eagles to upset them in another thread based on watching both team play. If the Camels can handle the pressure then they should pull off the win. Won't bother me to be wrong on the game One more thing. Mike Reitz is and alway will be a class act. Sometimes there is just not enough talent on the floor to win the game.

I hope the Camels will give Coach Code a chance to succeed. However I guess if winning a regional title is a medicore accomplishment then he has no chance. How many other Camels coaches can claim a regional title? BTW - I do care about Camel basketball and want it back to a winning program. I think the last 4-5 years speaks for itself. "Medicore" basketball at it best.

Two hard games for P-Co. They do not have the talent at this moment to compete with either Campbell Co or St Patrick. Both games should be blow outs. P-Co has alot of young talent so hopefully things will turn around in the near future.

I think Deming will be able to pull off the win on the home court. However, I would be more worried about pulling off the win on 1/21 instead on 1/8.

No jab intended. I just think on a neutral court the Camels will come out on top. I was not at the game played in Montgomery County and have no knowledge of any "home cooking". I just think that coach Code will make some adjustments based on their previous matchup and pull off a win.

Campbell County wins by 4 since this game is being played in Mason County and not Montgomery County
