Brossart has to be the favorite, IMO.

 

Deming has played some very good basketball and could come away with the title. King boys are tough & the team is well-disciplined from what I've seen.

 

Bracken has played very well this season, and will likely see a third matchup with Deming in the semi-finals.

 

And you can't count out Augusta, who has had some very surprising wins thus far. Big Rob will have his boys ready for the opening round.

 

So for me, the heart says Bracken but the head says Brossart.

Brossart appears to be a level ahead of the rest of the field. Bracken's fading, and Deming just doesn't have the horses to compete game in and game out. Augusta's a wild card but you'll know in the first 2 minutes of the Brossart game how they'll play. Paris has talent but is just totally undisciplined.

According the Herald Leader, Paris was up big on Deming the other night and lost in the last minute. They are a very up and down team. The discipline always seem to be an issue there.

I'll be pulling hard for Deming.

The field is wide open this year. I think it will come down to Deming and Brossart. Brossart has already handled Bracken, although it was early in the season. The King twins always present problems for their opponents in big games. The extra game for Deming may come back to haunt them.
