The only question mark I see for GRC is at PG. I expect Stenzel to have to handle the ball a lot. I think GRC is #5 in the state behind J-town, Eastern, Holmes, and Scott Co. (no order). I would be surprised for GRC not to be at Rupp next year.

Austin carried the team a regional title (they also won team titles in 93, 04, 08, and 09). Look for Forrest and Ben to bounce back next year and for the team to be a force as 5 of the top 6 return.

Congratulations to the Indian boys team for winning their 4th overall team title. They have won in 93, 04, 08, and 09. The 04 win was also a playoff victory.

It sounds like it is going to come down to the end. Colliver had a big win over Kindred and it may even be a playoff for the team title I will post updates.

I like Central. I think they are class 3A and they have a UK football signee in Ridge Wilson and hopefully one next year in Tim Patterson. They play great Defense and I love their coach, Doug Bibby. He coached Rondo and wears these awesome suits. Good luck to Central.

I drove 80 miles to go to this one. I've actually got the final sequence on video. Taylor County was down three with 15 seconds left. They went the length of the court and hit a three with about 5 seconds to go. North Hardin threw the ball in and the teams were fighting for the ball. North Hardin got it and tried to throw up a prayer from past half court that had no shot of going in. The ref said Taylor Co got him with the body with .8 seconds left. I thought it was going to be double bonus but the ref said he was shooting. Bramblett missed the first two and hit the third to win it for the Trojans by one. Chase Cox and Leonard Macon both picked up two fouls within the first four minutes of the game. Cox was in foul trouble all game. North Hardin led pretty much the entire fourth quarter until Taylor stormed back to tie it by finally knocking down some outside jumpers. It was a great game and it is a shame it had to end like that.

I'm watching the game online and according to the commentators Gelawn Guyn punched somebody for Lafayette and the refs missed it.

Mosley got hurt in the 3rd with Moore down about 2 points and that really hurt Moore the rest of the way.

I'm driving from Lex for this one. I've never seen the 7th region tournament and I"m excited. I'm going plan on going to the first two games this afternoon.

What happended?? Is Linton making a huge impact for Lafayette?

The only justice the 7th region has is that whoever makes it to Rupp gets to play on Wednesday (an extra day of rest) and is opposite the 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 15th, 16th regions.

If anyone knows what date the semis and finals will be held for any or all regions please let me know. I think the 9/10th is on a Tuesday night but I don't know about the other regions. I want to try to go to as many as I can. Thanks.

The region who will have the worst representative at state will be the 12th. The 3rd and 6th could be bad too.

The news just said traffic is terrible. Gridlocked in most places due to bridge freezes. It should be better in a couple of hours. I wonder if they will play the game. Bryan Station H.S is near New Circle Rd and Paris Pike (Broadway). I think if you are going down new circle on the outer circle then you will turn right on Bryan Sstation Rd. (away from downtown) then there is a funky intersection and at the crazy traffic light you have to make a really wide left turn., you will turn left, it is a really odd turn and I think it is the first or second light. The school will then be on your left.

Clark is young but Stenzel and Hatton have played key minutes the last two years and they should be veteran leaders.

That's the scary thing about Elliott. If they are hitting the three they could beat anyone in the state. They also could suffer a bad loss but still they have a chance agaisnt anyone.

Manual now has lost Cosby and Kimbro who both started out last season with the team. They also lost Williams to graduation. I think they drop from the #5 or 6 team down to around the #10 or 11 range.

In another thread we were all talking about Hatton should have been on that list. I also agree that Rash should be higher. What a solid player!

I hate that statement. Should UF had been #1 in preseason basketball polls last year after graduating 5 starters from the champs the year before? I know Mason has got some guys back and they may be a top 10 team but that doesn't mean they should be ranked first in the region. Should they be ranked in front of Scott County this year in the state "until someone knocks them off?"

I also think the 10th region top players should have included Hatton from GRC and that Rash from Montgomery should have been higher than #8.

I couldn't believe that. In some of the region articles, it mentions a coaches vote. Is this a coaches vote or just the author's opinion?
