That's what I thought you meant, and honestly I didn't think Trinity would get out of the region either. By Trinity standards I thought this was a down year for them, but they proved me wrong they played very well down the stretch. I would love to see them against Harrison County at full strength and see how it goes from there, but it's over with Trinity had a nice run going to miss watching Chris Berry that kid was fun to watch.

I want to know who were the people that didn't expect them to get out of their district this year? That's crazy to think about all they have to do is beat Seneca or Waggener every year, it's not to hard to do that.

I don't understand why he was let go, his team played .500 baseball, but they lost 10 games by 1 run this year. McCombs didn't pitch much of the year either, you can't knock a coach for injuries. Gilbert is a good ball coach that's sad they let him go.

Lex Catholic is state champs, Owensboro cinderella run came to an end. What a great run by Owensboro though 6-14 to start postseason play to be just 1 game away from winning a state champion truly remarkable performance by Red Devils and coach Kip Walters for getting them to play. Also congratulations to Kevin Clary, 1st year head coach taking his team to a state title in a brutal district and region.

I haven't seen South Laurel play, but from their schedule they can score at will. I'm almost positive that Brandon Alphin will be pitching for East and when he's on he's tough to hit. It should be a good ballgame both teams are fairly equal. I'll take East because of Alphin.

Well I don't know much about Highlands other then the football team, but I was just wondering what is this spring break trip all about?

From what I heard Seneca lost to Fern Creek on a questionable interference call at the end of the game. I know Indy Warren Central went 3-0 in pool play and squeaked by Moore by scoring with a minute left in the game to win 28-23 in the first round of the tournament play.

Did Owensboro really make it to the state tournament? Wow can anyone give any details of how this run took place this is insane. Was Owensboro players injured or something because you can't tell me a team that won 5 games all year just wakes up and says you know what guys let's win the district, region n semi-state. It's impressive to say the least though. I would love to see Owensboro upset Lawerence County, but I still think LCHS is better I'll take them. I doubt they pitch Shepard though.

Harrison is a good ball club from what I've heard but I think Trinity wins if they pitch Littrell the game should be a dandy though. Trinity is clicking offensively at the right time, but they need to sure up the defense if they want any chance of bringing home a state title. Tompkins will have them ready no doubt about that.

Yeah I was wondering about that, I read in the paper today Alphin made contact with the catcher, how much contact? Was the catcher for E'Town interfering with home not giving Alphin anywhere to go?

Did Freeman pitch in any of the first 2 games? If he didn't will he start against Hazard?

Great ballgame. Trinity's lone run came on an errant throw to 2nd that allowed a Trinity baserunner to score from third. Curtis McCombs, who was coming off 2 days rest pitched great for Ballard and went the distance. John Rueff pitched excellent for Trinity going all 7 and battled out of a bases-loaded 1 out jam in the 6th for the Rocks. Trinity advances to play Anderson County in the semi-state at Eastern High School starting Monday I believe.

Great ballgame! Josh Whitmer hits a mammoth walk off home run in extra innings to win it for Bullitt East. Matt Bowles pitched all 9 innings for East as they advance to play Elizabethtown in the semi-state at Larue County.

Any word on what happen to Chris Collins? Kind of odd to be looking for a head football coach this late in the year especially with weightlifting and passing league coming up.

Great ballgame, Brandon Alphin pitched very nicely for East and Scott Morrison for Male pitched a great game as well. East, I believed scored on an error pretty sure. Male's third baseman, Ryan Metry made some very nice plays at 3rd tonight. Just overall a great ballgame.

Central is a good football team but Shawnee is much improved from the beginning of the season. The start of the year they threw the ball every down after they realized they couldnt do that they started to get more balance and the running back Vinny Moore for them is pretty good. #21, I think his last name is Moson on defense might be just as good as Ridge Wilson, but doesnt get the credit because Shawnee isn't as good. Watch out for Shawnee in the playoffs they could sneak up on some people because of the athleticism they have.

Moore has 4 seniors all 4 start and the bad thing 5 juniors only 9 upperclassmen in their program. Freshman and sophomore have pretty good numbers though.

St. X looked good in scrimmages I say Ballard rebuilding has no chance X 49-7

Does it really matter how many game you win in the regular season? You should be asking how many games will you win in the postseason 5 or under.
