If there are multiple teams, like in UofL's, Male's or UK's, they usually have "pools" consisting of 3-4-5 teams depending on the # of teams playing. Those teams play a round-robin within their pool and the winner adavances to a single elinimation tournament.

 

The "weeknight" 7 on 7's, usually the teams that show up play other teams in 30-45 minute games until it gets dark.
