SL pitching staff some say is loaded. So they come out on top here. Would like to be able to watch this one. Does anyone know how the Woody kid has done.

Some also said E-Town's pitching staff was loaded. East rolls!

South Laurel's pitching staff is good, but not great. I believe South will have to have to be swinging the bats very well to win this one. Woody was the 13th region player of the year.

South Laurel can score a bunch of runs in a short period of time. This should be a great game!

I haven't seen South Laurel play, but from their schedule they can score at will. I'm almost positive that Brandon Alphin will be pitching for East and when he's on he's tough to hit. It should be a good ballgame both teams are fairly equal. I'll take East because of Alphin.

Should be a good game, I look for Coach Harris to throw everything at B.E.....he is a very smart coach and got a great bunch of talented athlets i look for Adams or Martin to throw and we might see another pitching duel! South Wins 4-2 !:dancingpa

If South Laurel can score score in bunches lt can be a very exciting game, I'm an East fan and have seen what their hot bats can do. Will be honest though I haven't seen SL and don't know much about them.

South Laurel has not been through the rigorous schedule that Bullitt East has played. I pick Bullitt East and do not think it will be close. This may be a 5 inning game.

This game is really hard to call. I don't think they have a common opponent. South Laurel has a great record and pretty much dominated the mountain competition. Bullitt East played the tougher schedule. Alphin or Bowles both have the ability to shut good teams down. I look for Bullit East to advance to the championship against Lex Cath.

I think that if Bullitt East plays well they have a good road to the state finals.

Bullitt East too much for South IMO. I hope that SL can pull this one off though.

A couple of Louisville TV stations paid visits to practice today. A reporter caught the coaches by surprise revealing Brandon's verbal commitment to the University of Louisville before he had the chance to tell them.
