I agree the comment made by Coach Humphrey comes across the wrong way. However, you will not find a better class act in high school basketball across the state than Coach Humphrey. This man is as humble and appreciative as they come. Coach H will be the first to tell you when his team gets flat out whipped. Please don't perceive coach humphrey based on this one comment because he is a great role model for young men in the Clark County community,ask any of his former players or anybody who has worked with him. Humility and acting humble is something his teams have always done in the past and will continue to do for years to come!

The cards playing at home is huge in this one... Lex cath's gym is college length allowing their 2-2-1 press to be very effective increasing the distance between passes and creating spacing problems for teams that aren't use to playing on that size floor. The cards may struggle with the press and commit quite a few turnovers, but the equalizer in this one is rebounding. If grc wins the battle on the boards they win by ten.

Yes, I meant develop. I just do not see a whole lot at the Freshman level with a lot of experience. Alan Stenzel will be good. Even the other Sophmore guards have not seen a lot of action. Martin probably the most. Sorry for the use of the wrong word.

Purvis returning will help the cards in there depth at the big man position. But they are going to have to get some Guards.

Shuda, Cuda and Wuda. The game plan for GRC seemed to change at the start of the 2nd half. It appeared they changed there offense and it did not work but they stayed with it throwing it inside. Don't fix it if it isn't broke. The big men for Clark (Zollo, Rogers and Purvis next year) have got to learn to kick the ball back out when they are double and triple teamed they have to trust there shooters and pass the ball back out. I agree way too many forced shots, when they not falling pass it. The old 3 D's "Drive, Draw and Dish". Clark Total had 4 assists. Also they need to practice, practice and practice FREE THROW SHOOTING. Also agree that Hatton should have been more involved in the offense in the 2nd half. I do not think Hatton shot a free throw all night. He was not very involved at all in the 2nd half. Hatton and Williams will be sorely missed next year. The press I will have to agree with D-Dawg no one wants the ball and Zollo and Rogers do not need to have it at half court dribbling and don't get it in the corner. It stays in the middle 1/3 of the court. Clark will have some great players next year they just all need to work together Coach Ohearn made the changes at half they needed to win. They have a great team and play well as a team. I wish them well.

Congratulations Barrett! I have watched you play for the last 9 or 10 years. You are a Great player and young man. Good Luck with your future plans and the rest of your season this year hopefully I will see you again Saturday night at Rupp!

I would have to go with Hatton from Clark Co. He is a senior, great student and averaging around 17 ppg. Not to take anything away from Stezel he is a great player and will only get better. The other schools I am sure have great Student/Players as well. Middleton is great player as well as Rash. I have not seen many of the other schools. The 2 from Campbell County Albrieght and Knerl (pardon the spelling) are great players as well.

It should be an exciting game. I hope the outcome is different than this summer. Both teams have several players who can play the game. All have their strengths and weaknesses. It should be a hard fought and fun game to watch. Not many H.S. games for some of the kids I wish them all well.

Stenzel also appeared still to be under the weather managing 17 points. I hope and pray that a short break will help Hatton, Stenzel and Rogers heal. I feel they can do it they all need to start playing healthy and together again. Go Cards.

Clark still playing individual ball. Good teams will exploit that and win by doing so and have. He who gets the ball first shoots. They played some Good Team ball for a short span in the 4th quarter that got them the lead to stay. Free Throws still need work! They can be a Great Team. Just need to work together and learn to trust each other.
