TruBalla10 Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Wow. Unbelievable. And to beat Montgomery 3 times on the way is just incredible.
TakeYourBase Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Montgomery comes up short at being the only team to win region 6 straight times.
Tops022 Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Congrats girls! Hats off to Montgomery, they had a great season! When was the last time the Lady Cards won the 10th? Last I remember was 1991?

FB15G8 Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Annie Garland's knee injury is all I can say. If Annie doesn't tear the ACL, they are cutting down the nets again. No way, Clark beats them once, let alone three times. Now, congrats to Clark, they did play who was there and did win, so congrats to them. But they certainly benefited from the injury to Garland.

I think a lot of teams would've won "this or that" if one or more of there players had not gotten injured but that's just part of basketball. I give a lot of credit to Clark Co. and I don't even know anyone who coaches or plays for them. Got to just come to the realization that things don't always go the way you want to.
Touch The Line Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Congrats to the Lady Cardinals, sad to see an amazing run by the Montgomery County Lady Indian Seniors come to an end, best of luck to them all.

Stuff happens. Ifs and buts. If Montgomery makes some FT's in this game they have a chance. Congrats to the Lady Cards.

I agree with what others have said to this, as you play the hand you are dealt. Where would Montgomery Co had been this year w/o Jenni Lausti playing point guard? Could they still have gotten as far as they did even with Garland playing and not w/o getting Lausti at the point thru the foeign exchange program?
