Not a bad showing. Got to wonder if Kentucky had two of the top players that were out with injuries that the outcome would been a win.

Game was in Indiana. Ky coaches did an excellent job. Faulkner kids like having extra coaches. Butler was a great surprise, added alot of speed and ball handling skills. Indiana is big, big and had more success with the three.

Mr. Basketball from Indiana was neutralized, but others filled in. Tomorow at Bellarmine, Ky. will have to challenge some of those threes and keep their big men from dominating inside. Looking forward to it.

Delon Butler is highly skilled, and IMO if he was bigger than 5'9" he could play at the high D1 level.

You add Jenkins to the perimeter and put Phares in the paint and this game goes the other way.

 

Hood did a great job in the first half with 14 before finishing with 20 and 5.

 

It is a solid showing for Kentucky in Indiana. Hopefully tomorrow we can have a better 2nd half and defeat the Hoosiers.
