Really enjoyed the atmosphere at RC, the sound system is great and the fans always come out but..... I have faith in GCHS and these Musketeers will come out and win. Go GCHS It's a GREAT DAY TO BE A MUSKETEER :thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:

:thumb: As a teacher I see this all the time, the students quit and then the parents are ok with this. I raised my children not to quit no matter what, life is tough and sometimes unfair but you do what you have to do and keep on keeping on.

Again, Old Rambler, you hit the nail on the head. Just exchange the Word Raceland to GREENUP or PORTSMOUTH(I've just been "volunteered" to be the Pep Club Sponsor at the high school) for me. I love how you put this. I know this is the way I felt about GCHS during the 6 years my sons played and I still feel that way today.:ylsuper:

Wow, just got home and the first thing Mr. mom55 said to me was that GCHS beat Raceland, omg. I am so proud of the GCHS Musketeers. It sounds like we missed one great ball game. Well, I have to sign out for the week, will be gone teaching at a National Boy Scout Advance Training for Boy Scout Leaders. Ram Fan 04 and sidelinedoc you have absolutely cracked me up this week with the Avitars, I love closet fans :lol: I'm going to miss the game Friday night and I don't know if I will be able to get the internet at Camp Falling Rock so I won't know the scores until mr. mom55 calls me(he better not forget). I have faith in my Musketeers but I know what it is like at Raceland - on their home field, their first home game. Good luck to all and I really hope there is no injuries. Before the game started they had the Meenach family come to the front of the GCHS stands along with Coach Copley, Coach Ailster, ND Coach Mike Sammons. At this time they revealed a case with Zach Meenach's #3 jersey and pictures and they dedicated this game and the rest of the season to Zach. The case with the jersey will be in the GCHS locker room. The game started rough but then you could see the "heart" of the boys come through, especially #26 Terry Waugh and #33 Lyle. They along with their teammates played for Zach last night and it was an excellent win for GCHS. This mom of musketeers was very proud last night.
