My math was based on your previous statement...I didn't check KHSAA and all I did was supply my opinion. It just a pleasure to see the uninformed and the famous "lazyboy" coaches posting crazy comments on here all the time. I do agree that Bellevue's administration made a mistake in their hiring process for this job....they didn't consult BGP and it's constituents for input.

Livinthedream according to my math the Tigers have beaten 5 teams not just 3 as you previously calculated. However, you are right the girls team is struggling this year and if you know anything about small school sports you would already know that success in these types of schools are typical cyclical (that means it happens in cycles!). Also, I heard that Coach Sorrell maybe looking for another assistant or two to help out with his current staff....I really think you and raiderbird should contact Bellevue's administration to sign on and share your wealth of knowledge with Coach Sorrell and the assistant with zero experience.

Are any of the assistant coaches taking care of the weight program and the off-season stuff until a coach is named?

At least Dale wears the headsets....Bob hasn't worn them in at least the last 3 years.....I just think he is there to protect his coaching staff, I have heard from several people that have an affiliation with the school on the hill and said that the administration wants the staff gone once Bob retires!

As a member of the Bellevue community our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of these young adults.

Still just collecting the wins? If I were the actually coach I would petition for these wins to be added to my career wins and losses record

They had a good group of youngs kids playing JV last year...If they hit the weights and continue to work hard I am sure they will improve upon a year that I am sure they would like to forget

I know that the obvious choice is Beechwood, but just for the sake of everyone on this thread that is not a fan of anything Beechwood....I am going with the Good Ol' Boys from Hazard

I have had the pleasure of watching Frankfort play a few times this year and I will tell you that #9 Quan(sp?) Weaver is a great RB, he is build solid and runs hard. However, I just do not think that Frankfort will be able to handle the smash mouth type of football that Nky schools are known for, especially the 1A schools. With that being said, Dayton's defense has played tough most of the season, so I will give them a slight advantage in a very close game. Dayton 27 Frankfort 24 I am sure the Bellevue boys will be rooting for Dayton to win this one and save them a long bus trip for the 2nd round!

Just calling a spade a spade! Also that opinion has been pretty well backed up with a ton of evidence of awful play calling and coaching

If you would have read my post more carefully you would have seen that I did not kick the kids while they were down....it was the coaching staff. From the few games I have seen Brossart play, the kids work hard every game and do a lot of the fundamental things very well. But, when a coach turns around to talk to someone that is not on staff during the game there is NO excuse for that! I just hope that the school will pay for them to attend either the Nike Coach of the Year or the Glazier clinics because the coaches need all the help they can get.

Brossart just needs to keep their heads up and keep working hard. I just do not know how successful this program can be. I was in the stands last night and was amazed at the actions of Brossart coaches....I actually saw one turn away from the game and started talking to fans or family standing behind the team! That is ridiculous! I also saw Bellevue's coaching staff on Brossart sidelines, I wonder if they were trying to offer some sound advice on how to do things right

I am going to go with Walton on this one. I think that their kids will come out fired up to bring home the first .500 season in school history. A remarkable feat for a first year program. I do see this being a low scoring game though Walton 15 Trimble 12

This should be a good game, I know that Dayton is better than their record indicates, however, I just do not see them matching up very well with Carroll in this one. Carroll 32 Dayton 18

I was there to watch this great game....This one literally came down to the wire! Congrats to Walton on winning the small schools JV championship!

I would have to give my vote to the McMillen from Walton. He has taken a first year program and has actually made them competitive with other small schools and winning several games this year. A very impressive feat! Who cares about Mueller!.....with the exception of Ryan Ernst
