What are the predicitons for this game?

I am shocked at the lack of support for Dayton....Where are all the Dayton fans?

Going on the "new" coach part of the thread, I would go with Coach McMillian out at Walton Verona, he really has things moving in the right direction out there. He already has a win this season, in the programs first.

I admit I forgot about the Male/Manual game (just wasn't thinking)! Bellevue/Dayton would have to one of the next oldest rivalries in the state, it always a great, hard-fought game between both teams. By the way....Columbus must have just skipped over to the Male/Manual game as he did not land on Plymouth Rock:thumb:

The Bellevue/Dayton rivalry is by far the best in Northern Ky. Also, if I am not mistaken, it maybe the longest rivalry in the area if not the state

I am only agreeing with FC, because this seems too easy a decision for even him to screw up, so I will stick with my original prediction and say that Ludlow will dominate the up front battle, which will help contain Richardson.:ylsuper:

First of all I think NCC is a good team, but so is Bellevue. I think Bellevue's D, will cause NewCath to move away from their game plan, while I am guessing Eckstein will put in a wrinkle. I also think the Buckler/Barrett combo will still come through this week. Bellevue 27 NCC 22

This game is going to be another good class A playoff game, but I think that the Tigers from Beechwood, will come into this game too cocky and will not be ready for Bellevue. Bellevue 17 Beechies 14

First off, I know I talked some trash this week, but I want to congratulate both teams on a great game last night. This game will go down as one of the best Bellevue/Dayton games in the history of this rivalry. As for walking through the pregame...if Davis field was such a terrible field and had an actual place for people to walk, then I am sure Bellevue would not have down that. As for the stomping of the "D", Bellevue came into this game to make a statement to Dayton and they did. I know that Huninghake and Combs from Bellevue were laying the wood to Dayton's receivers last night. This game came down to adjustments, Bellevue made adjustments from Game 1, while it did not seem like Dayton made any adjustments from Game 1 or during the course of this game. This is were coaching experience comes in handy. Again, Congrats to players from both sides and once again it feels good to be right!:ylsuper:

Hurricane, yes Paul Gray was down at practice this week, working with this Wills kid. I have confirmed that Babb will not play at all on Friday and will not even be dressed. Actually, it is still up in there air if he will even be in attendance (depends on his level of sickness). :cry:

I was talking with a friend who knows a couple of members of Bellevue coaching staff and he said that #19 ( I think it's Richard Wills) is definitely starting, because Babb can't get his temperature down and is throwing up. I also heard that Wills was 9 of 12 for 133 yds and 2 TD's against Dayton's JV. So I think he will compliment this new "Oregon-like" spread offense better than Babb.

Actually, my younger brother is on the team and he said that Roger Babb has the flu and may not play this Friday. I think they are going to start their JV QB (Richard Wills?) to help compliment their new spread attack!:ylsuper:

Don't forget..... Dayton 1 state championship (1966) Bellevue 3 state championships and either 4 or 5 state runner-up's :thumb:

Now you just need to make your mind up on who you want to win....about the history lets go back to your time in high school. 0-30 rings a bell, neither dayton or bellevue have ever been that bad!:ylsuper:
