The worst officiated games are when there's 3 refs. I think they have a tendancy to let the other guy make the call, but nobody does.

Ludlow is very big and physical, I can see why they got to the finals, but the NCC guards were just too quick for them.

HC is the better team, 50-40.

It was not a good game, both teams played lousy, the JV game was way more entertaining.

Don't read more into it than it really is, I'm not saying Dixie won because NCC played bad, Dixie played well and deserved to win.

It should be a great tournament, any of those teams could win it. It's not who's the best, it's who's playing the best that week that counts.

Offense is not Villa's problem though, their lack of any defense is.

The NCC boys really must have felt the effect of no sleep last weekend at retreat, played very unmotivated.

Cutter had a good game and Allen is always good.

Very surprised by St. Henry's win, just goes to show that you're never out of it with good coaching.

Good win on the road for NewCath. Very Balanced scoring and good defense on a very athletic but young NCH team. Meyer 13, Connor 12, M. Giesler 10.

Hood is good, and will be a good player for KY after he puts on some weight, but the best player I've seen this year is Josh Sewell from Trinity. He has to be up there with Pittman for Mr. Basketball next year.

I din't understand what game everyone else is watching but Bryan is the best guard in the 9th region and one of the best in the state period. He would start for every team in the state much less the 9th region. There isn't another player in the 9th region that would score 35 pts/ game if they were playing for Villa. The kid can flat out shoot and score driving to the basket. If he was 6'1" everyone would talking D1. No doubt he has some bad habits from having to make all the plays, but most of the time he makes them.

Villa's team is not that bad, they have other players that can play and shoot. If they would play team ball and actually pass the ball once in a while they might win. It really effects the defense also. Everyone is standing around on offense watching and then gets beat back down the court. Most of the points Villa gives up are on fast break layups.

Tight calls by the refs got NCC in foul trouble early, Matt Giesler and Grant Pangallo sat out the entire second quarter so the Breds only scored 10 pts.by half. Breds played a very good 3rd quarter and tied the game, but the Seward kid was just too good. 6'4" very athletic, best player NCC has played against all year. Probably best team they've played also.

Great defense by NCC. Held both the 6'8" and 6'10" kids to well under their avg. Connor had another good night with 19 pts. 17 in the first half. Jake Giesler pitched in with 13, all in the second half. Good win for the Breds.

NewCath hangs on in overtime. NewCath was up 7 with 1:10 to go. Fouled a jump shooter at the buzzer, he made all 3 with no time left to send it to overtime. Connor had a great game, 26pts or so.
