  1. Ok gotcha. On another note, how is Barker doing? Has anyone heard anything?
  2. Not being sensitive about a group at all. You got on here blasting your teams offensive line. I think Conner has a good offensive line but maybe a reason for their struggles had to do more with the athletic ability of Cooper's D-Line. Either way, it was a good game to watch.
  3. When Cooper was built a majority of the kids came from Conner.
  4. I would first like to congradulate Cooper on a solid win. Second, you should give Cooper's D-line credit. They are a very good unit. Cooper's defense in general is doing a very nice job this season.
  5. I can't wait! Such a great show..
  6. Not a lot of teams are.. Tough to dig yourself out of a hole. How many seniors does Holmes have. I feel like both of these teams are still very young.
  7. How man drops were there? I wasn't at the game but I heard Cooper moved the ball well offensively. Looks like Cooper's defense is still looking solid.
  8. Lol at this comment. If I remember correctly Cooper played in the small school district. Let's not forget, Freshman ball is not varsity football. Two completely different worlds....
  9. I know Branch had an injured shoulder last year... maybe that's why he is not on D. Collins did make quite a few tackles from the S spot from the 2 games I saw. Morris is a good safety but hasn't he had cramping issues? I know he didn't cramp against Boone but I thought I saw somewhere else he had been cramping a lot.
  10. What happened last week RARELY happens at Beechwood and I'm sure it's already been fixed. They show up and they take this one.
  11. Exactly. WR's typically don't have to learn protection schemes, line calls, reads etc...
  12. Fact of the matter is that at schools like St. X or Trinity, numbers do play a role. If i'm a student at Trinity and I play Left Tackle, I play that position from the time I am a freshman until the time I am a senior. In NKY, we don't have the depth that teams like ST. X and Trinity have. You can be playing Left tackle one week and then right guard the next week. Fact of the matter is that when you have a larger male population to pull from, you get the necessary depth to be competitive. This is a serious question, but how many kids play both ways for Trinity?
  13. My point with Centers though is that if you move him to TE you are taking him off of the field. Cooper from what I saw at the game, did not use a TE. Not to mention if you do not have a line that can block, it doesn't matter how good your hands are. I'm sure you don't mean disrespect you are just voicing your opinion which is what this board is for. I am doing the same thing you are. I'm sure the coaches would love to have Centers out there playing TE because from what I've heard not only from you but from people in the community is that he is a good athlete. If this is what is best for the team, it is what has to be done. I'm sure in 10 years when Cooper gets the athletes out that the Boones, Conners, and Ryles are getting, kids like Centers will get to play TE.
  14. SK will win. Holmes will be feeling ok about themselves for keeping it close with Beechwood, but that had more to do with Beechwood having turnoveritis.
  15. NCC is now 3-0 playing bigger schools. CC is now 0-3. From what I have heard though, CC is getting better every week.
  16. "Play every play as if it's your last." Words couldn't be more true. It's a shame for his injury to keep him out all year especially since he's not just a kid with talent, but a kid who plays with heart. Best of luck on the road to recovery and I know we all can't wait to see ou suit up for WKU.
  17. Congrats to Bracken County! Very good to see this program starting to get some wins!
  18. Let's break this post down into two seperate parts.. 1. As for moving Centers to TE.. After viewing the game last night and seeing that Cooper went to a Spread style of offense it would make absoultely zero sense to move Centers to TE. Why might you ask? They didn't have a tight end in the game for a single snap last night. Centers is playing tackle which IMO makes a lot of sense. Why again might you ask? Well if you have watched Cooper at all this year, you have seen struggles from the O-Line. So you put the biggest, strongest kid on the line and see if he helps. Hmmmmm makes sense to me. 2. Now lets address moving Collins to LB. If I am correct, Cooper is playing a 4-2-5 defense. In that style of defense, your safety is what is known as an "alley player." The "alley" for those of you who don't know, is the area in open space where running backs tend to run. Your "alley player" aka your safety in the 4-2-5 defense is typically not only the guy who can tackle and attack the line the best, but is your best defender all together. From the two games I have seen Cooper play this year, Collins is their best ball player on defense. Makes sense to put him there. Now I am new to the site as you can see by the amount of posts I have but I have been reading and following Cooper since the schools opening as I know a lot of people who work for the school and have friends who's children play for the school. Basically though, I have seen your posts specifically and it seems ever week, win or lose, you have some sort of complaint. You paid your $20 and you are entitled to your opinion but to me, you have the credibility of UK#1 fan (no offense UK, you just love your team too much :thumb:). I would think if you had the name CoopJag you would support your team, not rip every single thing they do. Then again though, that's the problem with society these days, everything is about ME and their is no sense of TEAM.
  19. Colerain wins 56-0. I feel like those boys have a chip on their shoulders after the smack talk by Elliot at the WKU camp. I'd be surprised if Elliot breaks 100 yards.
  20. I think this Holy Cross team is better than people were giving them credit for. #3 for HC is a great athlete and definitely has to be gameplanned for. They have a nice QB too. Good runner with a strong arm. Wish both teams the best of luck the rest of the year.
  21. Defense for Cooper played solid ball. HC's offense scored a total of 12 points, and then a TD off an interception. Very sloppy games on both sides and I don't see either team being happy with the way they played.
  22. If you all haven't noticed this is a repeating trend. I don't think in anyway, shape, or form is the OP trying to put down this team. I think he is just asking is this a team that is really going to make noise this year..
  23. It's reporting on ESPN that the backup job has not been decided...
