Congrats to Joey Nussbaum and Jackson Mahorney!

Boy, the Nussbaum name has been associated with Beechwood kicking for 40 years! Impressive showing.

Great job Joey!

Good job Joey. Good luck to you.

What year is Joey? How long has he been the kicker? Sounds like he has it down. Good Luck to him.

Congrats Joey and Jackson!

nice! congrats! Is this the same kicker from a year ago?

Watching him punt last year against HHS, I could see this young man having a huge career on the next levels. Haven't seen one like this ever. Has extremely long legs. At least it looks like it. Good luck to him and what his future brings.

Toothpick to answer your question yes it was. He is awesome as was his father before him at Beechwood a great line of kickers from the Nusbaum family. JD

It's tough for kickers/punters to get scholarships. I'll be curious to see how goes for Mr. Nussbaum.

Heck, the snapper might get a scholly in a few years.

True. The odds are probably a little better if you can do both kicking and punting at the next level. But how often does that happen these days? Not many D1 college teams that have one player doing both that I can recall.

Indeed it has, and he has brothers coming up too! I know both his mama and papa are so proud of all their boys. congrats to Joey and Jackson!

OSU recruited just that indeed in there class 2 years ago. Kicking wise, he has a nice shot at a scholly, if he can do both he has an even better chance.

Congrats !! It's amazing how these small schools in northern Ky , can produce these outstanding players ! Good luck young man , you have talent !!

For as long as I can remember Beechwood has always had really good kickers which is always impressive for a 1A school. Most of the time you just sign the kid who can squib the ball the furthest but with Beechwood I feel like they have always been able to kick the ball to the endzone.
