Who are the top defensive backs in Kentucky for 2020?

Recommended Posts

These are the guys that make opposing quarterbacks think twice about throwing in their direction. We've got a couple of legit power five DBs, along with some guys just off the P5 grid with a chance to move up.

Here are the ones that stood out to me:

Jantzen Dunn - South Warren

6'2", 180 lbs

Offers from Alabama, Ohio State, UK, UofL, Oklahoma, Florida, WVU, USC, and Texas, among others

#12 Dunn JR-SZN Highlights - Jantzen Dunn highlights - Hudl

Jordan Lovett - North Hardin

2019: Recorded the second most interceptions in a single season in state history with 15.

Offers from UK, UofL, Cincinnati, Tennessee, WVU, and Purdue, among others

Eli Blakey - Manual

Blake Ruffin - Trinity

Frederick Douglass may not have one player that is a top 3 or 4 but I feel that is where the Broncos are the strongest. They return 5 of their top 7 DB’s from last years and 3 of them are just juniors and 1 sophomore. Two of these young men already have offers from UK and Louisville. They are juniors Ty Bryant and Dane Key. They are very good players on both sides of the ball. I feel several of the Broncos defensive backs will be well know once the season starts.
