Tornado reported in Morgan Co , West Liberty. They just had a F2 tornado on Wednesday. This report has damage to the court house, injuries and people trapped.

Just got off the phone with the parents. The area around Piner is a mess. It sounds like it hit on the southern side of Piner and on the north side of Demossville. There are houses down and debris everywhere. Roads are blocked with trees and downed electrical lines.

 

I have relatives that live on Parker's Grove in Piner, they tell me that a tornado went down Bagby road and did all kinds of damage. My relatives have two trees on their home right now. The news is reporting that one person is missing from Bracht Piner road area. Praying for these folks.

Standing on a porch in Boyle County. Keeping an eye out before we head to the basement. Tornado warning just announced for my area. I'll keep you guys posted.

I want to head down and checks things out and offer help, but all roads are closed. Police are only letting residents and emergency personnel through.

Herd my area around Crittenden got hit hard. Im out of town till Sunday. Anybody from around there PM me let me know how things are.

Baby girl under 3 was found near Salem Indiana in a field, she is alive and at Kosairs Hospital in Louisville. No realtives have been found. This happened last year near my sister in Alabama and the baby was killed. Praise the LORD for this child. Its been a long day. henryville was hit so hard and my heart just goes out. They are still rebuilding in Alabama. Just a few minutes and it can change lives very quickly.

We're good. Just rain, wind and hail. Leaving the in-laws and headed home. I think Boyle was left unscathed.

Couple miles north and I might be looking for a place to stay tonight. We were lucky and I really feel for the people in Piner and Demosville. Lots of friends in that area.

Cincy news is reporting heavy damage in Moscow, Ohio.

 

Pretty much all clear here now (looking for some wood to knock on as we speak). Tornado warning and watch for Mason County lifted I believe at 6:30.

Sometimes a little levity is needed during such horrible situations as these storms. Sure hope no one is offended.

Just rain in Ashland. Seems to have passed.

I could throw a rock & hit 154 from my backyard. Hope your niece is okay.

 

Happy the hear they are OK. No power and a tree knocked off some gutters. Also lost a roof on an out building.

I just looked at the map. That was right in my parents' backyard. If they didn't go to the basement, they would've seen it go through.

I was in Milford, OH today doing some survey work. It was cloudy, sprinkling but relatively calm. However, there were shredded up leaves, peices of insulation and paper falling from the sky. The wife and kiddo were in Independence, KY and I had the hardest time getting a hold of them during this time. I was scared because I thought what was falling from the sky was from that area. Turns out, they were OK and no damage to the house or anything whatsoever to the neighborhood to report.

 

Now as for the debris that was falling from the sky, that was from Henryville, IN. I was listening to Lance's show on 700 WLW and someone called in from Anderson area (near Milford) telling about how they had a check in their front yard and the address was from Henryville, IN and the date on the check was from 1981.

 

Anyhow, I just thought I would share my experiences with you all. I hope/pray that everything is OK. I plan on going out tomorrow to assist with cleanup duties.
