March 3, 201214 yr Herd my area around Crittenden got hit hard. Im out of town till Sunday. Anybody from around there PM me let me know how things are. I'm on my phone and can't figure out how to pm. Crittenden did get hit. Specifically the harvesters.

March 3, 201214 yr I would like to thank nWo for the many weather forecasts he posts during the year. My prayers go out to the communities that have been affected by the terrible weather today. Lives have been lost and home have been destroyed. nWo I always read your posts on the weather and greatly appreciate them.
March 3, 201214 yr This is the latest report I have gotten about West Liberty in Morgan Co: Commercial bank 2nd floor damaged, Roof gone from Bank of the Mtns, Freezer Fresh gone, Board of Ed bldg gone, nursing home gone, Wells Hill Elem gone, Courthouse gone (not sure which??), awful!! Police blocked off town and allowing emergency crews in only. I still have family member I can not get in touch with. Praying for all of thoes that have been effected by all this damage.

Still havn't reached my other uncle's family and my nephew and his family. KSR just posted this picture of West Liberty, absolutely devastating. March 3, 201214 yr Three tornados confirmed by KSP in my county. The firehouse located about two miles from where I live was destroyed. Between there and my house, it was hit and miss. Many out buildings were destroyed, lots of trees down. A house about a mile on the other side of me was destroyed. Thankfully, no one was injured. We saw the tornados that hit Jefferson Co, IN, out the front window of the house Iwas at. Just...wow.

I was unfortunately speaking from my own personal experience with this storm, and had not heard of any incidents/damage in the Greater Cincinnati area when making that irresponsible post. A seeming over-reaction (again) with nothing to show for it but some heavy rain, and then sunshine within a 30 minute span led to my comments. At the time the only damage cited was south and west of us in the Louisville and Vevay Indiana areas. It appears in retrospect that we were indeed lucky to have escaped the carnage. Apologies and sympathy to those who lost properties and lives in this storm.
