True blue (and gold)
...or even better, if it's your Dad. Same. My dad comes in from Colorado once or twice a year. The jobs pile up between visits.
bugatti
I am not mechanically minded at all. Growing up I worked in a car detail shop for 10+ years so I can get around ok. I am not completely helpless, but I am pretty limited with my skills.

rockmom
Some mentioned that jogged my memory Guns...outside of shot guns and rifles, I couldn't tell you what was what, except that it MAY be a handgun (of some sort). Video Games....absolutely suck, and have absolutely no desire to not suck at video games. Another one...I can't do those dances like the Electric Slide, etc. I've tried...but really...I'm so much better doing a Billy Idol and dancing with myself. For all I know I could look like Elaine Bennis. But..regardless, it's fun. Golf and casino gambling. I am definitely learning about these both now. BUT...and of more interest to me....I'm learning about the business and operations side of both, rather than the actual recreation. It finally clicked the other day what a theo was. Only took 6 months.

Randy Parker
After reading what some of you guys are saying, particularly about inability to repair things, I don't feel like such a girl. I know nothing about fixing something on a car, but there's a good chance I could tell you the repair that is needed. Having driven so many very high mileage cars, I've seen most everything.
Voice of Reason
I once worked with a guy who loved coffee. He always had a cup in his hand. One morning he went to get a cup of coffee and the pot was empty. He asked me to make a pot of coffee! And I didn't even drink the stuff! But I did know how to make it and he said he didn't know how. So I said come over here and I will show you. He says, no, I don't want to know how because then I'll have to make it. Kind of like changing a tire.
