I'm not too great with bushes and shrubs and things, but that's definitely how I am with trees.

 

The father of one of my very good friends makes his living owning/running a non-profit educational center in Owen County called the Cincinnati Nature Academy, and you could virtually drop him anywhere in the woods and he could name you every single plant or tree he can see. It may be geeky, but it makes me really jealous, haha.

I know nothing of cars, am terrible at trivia games, can't win a game of Scramble with Friends (iPhone app) to save my life, and I really wish I knew more about economics. I would love to get into the stock market one day, but I have a lot to learn before then.

I have a much better answer now that I'm thinking about trivia. Last week a friend text me and asked if I knew anything about Dr. Who. The bar she plays trivia at has a lot of questions pertaining to it and it foils them week-after-week. Unless the question is one of these two things I am lost.

 

1. Name the two BGP members who absolutely love Dr. Who.

2. In what country is Dr. Who originally aired.

At least partly. It always seemed like such an overwhelming thing with what... 800 or so episodes... but seeing that up there all the time I finally just decided to sit down and start watching.

Well, on Saturday morning I would have told you that I have a healthy interest in science, and that it's a topic that I know a little about. Then, I had a Skype conversation with my girlfriend who is currently working in genetic biology on a federal grant over in Wales. We talked about what she "does" with science on a day-to-day basis for maybe an hour. Once we got to about minute 6 or 7 of the conversation, I realized that clearly...science is something I know nothing about. :isurrender:

One thing I've lost sleep over trying to figure out, and maybe I'm in good company, is the subject of ..........WOMEN. You buy them something nice or take them out and they want to know "What do you want?" If you don't do anything for them they think you don't care or love them anymore. You treat them better then their last boyfriend, 9 times out of 10 they'll go back to them. This question that has stumped men for years. More case study has to be studied I quess.
