A lot of strange things in that game for Mayfield. Hopefully we will have some answers soon.

Is this the first 1A mountain tiltle since Middlesboro in 98? Congrats Hazard.

All of us experts knew we probably wouldn't have many, if any, close games. We were right. The game was not close. :isurrender:

Congrats to the Hazard kids and staff. What a great game!

I believe so.

And the game could have been far worst than it was. Guhy was picked five times and the margin was only 11 until the pick six at the end. Hazard could of possibly had at least two more scores.

From the game!

...I have watched well over 300 games this season ...

Really? How would one pull that off? Sounds just a tad bit unbelievable. Were you Wilt Chamberlain's wingman when he slept with the 20,000 women too?

You should believe him. NCF has a network of friends to send him games on film, and he watches entire days of HS games on TV as well. The guy lives and breaths HS football. I don't doubt it at all.

As I said above, Hazard is a deserving champion and they earned it. Very solid team.

However, a second person has confirmed to me what I saw while watching the game. You can look it up in the game update thread, I made the comment that it looks like Jackson is "saving energy". I made that comment because the Jonathon Jackson I saw today was not the same player I saw versus Beechwood. He looked a half step slow and I expected him to look even faster playing on the turf at Western. Then I started questioning why Mayfield was not giving him the ball in the second half. He only had 3 carries prior to the last drive and let there be no doubt that Jackson is the Mayfield offense. So what is the explanation? Jackson tweaked his knee in the Beechwood game last week. He did not practice all week. This is a Beechwood fan making the post so don't call out Mayfield's fans as making excuses. But the fact is that was not Jonathon Jackson near his best to day and that had a big impact in a game as close as this one.

OK, I trust you RM. I guess its a hobby. It would have to be. That's a lot of football to fit in in 3 months time.

Congratulations hazard D is really good

Mayfield has one of the most respected, successful and classy programs in the state. I can't tell if you are just trying to stir the post, have a personal grudge or just clueless.

A grudge would be my guess. No need to go down the “cheating punks” road though.
