I believe that is it. A few close games I remember HHS vs Elder in 2004. CCH vs Elder in 2004. CCH vs X in 2003.

True, IF those other elements exist. But I can't see a parent sending their child off to a great football program at a lousy school.

 

Even if they know their child has a far better shot at an athletic scholarship rather than an academic scholarship? I mean their goal is to get their kids to college, just two different avenues of going about it.

Absolutely false.

People can say whatever they want about me, but I have NEVER experienced classless Trinity fans at a game. If I did, I would most certainly call them on it. And would have the support of the masses as well.

Nope they beat Cincy St. X. (The biggest win in Highlands storied program-IMO).

Unfortunately, CCH got Elder in the 2nd year of their back-to-back championship teams in 2003. Ugly.

Trinity beat Elder in 2010 and beat X a couple of years before that, if memory serves. The X QB (Marra/Matta-???) broke his collar bone in that game, I believe.

RockPride is correct on both accounts, the Trinity fans at their place/away have a lot of class and when I meet one out in public they have been very nice, and I have said some things about him, (to my wife) hey I don't lie. :idunno:

To use a somewhat local analogy, about the same number of MAC schools that routinely beat the top Big Ten teams?? What's the point--Different dynamics and different worlds.

If SK, Dixie and Scott was all one school they would be close to 3,000 students.

While there are schools who certainly are performing poorly, I can't think of any great football programs that are not at a great school for academics. NCC, Beechwood, HHS, CCH; all of them excell in academics.

Agreed on the latter. Other than Newport which has been taken over by the state what NKY schools would be considered "lousy?"
