Well, in the T games I have been to over the past six years they DO :thumb: And in a post from last I said the the difference between X and T. The players, coaches, and fans from X have class. In fact most T game I have gone to I have left feeling embarassed to be Catholic.

When I think of Trinity what I will always remember, was the game in 2008 against SK. The Trinity student section singing "na na na na hey hey good by" as the Simon Kenton QB was being put in an ambulance on the field in a neck brace. Thats class.

I thought HHS just recently beat Elder.

Agreed on the latter. Other than Newport which has been taken over by the state what NKY schools would be considered "lousy?"

Absolutely false, and nothing more than a silly attack on all things "Highlands." No, those truths apply before, during and after football or any other extracurricular activity.

 

There is no reason to throw former players names out here but it is the truth, you should not deny it.

 

Football in NKY is second best in the state, as a whole. There are a few communities in NKY which put together programs that cannot compete but at the same time, have very low expectations when competing; based on their population, economic level, and history of poor academics. But can somebody please start a thread, why can't public schools in Louisville ever compete with T and X? I will bet any amount of money that Manual, Male, Seneca, and Ballard have greater athletes walking their halls than any NKY 6A program. How come they can't get it done? the end.

That was a bunch of kids, and yes I remember that. I sat near the student section and was disgusted by that. In fact I don't think you will find a single Trinity fan that would ever condone it or defend the actions of those students. I also seem to remember some teachers in attendance who came down to the student section to get that under control. Those are not the values that we teach at Trinity and to this day I still am ashamed of what those students did in that situation.

RockPride is correct on both accounts, the Trinity fans at their place/away have a lot of class and when I meet one out in public they have been very nice, and I have said some things about him, (to my wife) hey I don't lie. :idunno:

So you're calling our entire program classless because of what you say you heard some high schoolers saying? I assure you, if that indeed happened, it was addressed and dealt with.

After reading this, I am as well. I seemed to have forgotten about this.

I agree, and I think PepRock and RockPride answers were great. But when someone from Trinity start a thread about how great we are and how average everyone else is. Should we all just Thank You for even letting us play.

I stated about 6-7 teams that are perennially great.

Every game I have ever been to at T or X has had pretty classy fans/parents. For that matter the folks at Male, Eastern, Bulter, Bowling Green, and a dozen other schools have great people. Success can, however, breed contempt.

We have an area called the hill where kids get to gether and things happen. (Male) They are kids. We (Male Kids) also have done some things in the past as kids, that we don't condone. In fact I'd like to see more police at these games.
