Obviously the two main areas of HS football in KY are Louisville and NKY. That being said, in Louisville it is often us, X, occasionally Male, and Central that make the most noise. In NKY you have Beechwood, HHS, NCC, and used to have CCHS, and then a revolving door of the NKY "big dogs".........my real question is, why can't NKY put together the team that will A): take them to the promised land, and B): sustain that success?

Talent is spread thin.

T's is not.

Boone schools do not take outsiders. SK is not going to get any outsiders other than Taylor Mill.

T gets many outsiders.

What else you want to know?

^ Outsiders? How many are on this (Trinity) year's team? What's your guess?

Also, is that what separates us from NKY? The fact that we have people from an entire county, and an occasional few from outside? What's the defense of NKY when it was a 2-3 horse show instead of now?

Outsiders meaning there are no boundaries.

Boone is the only 6A team that was ever a powerhouse. They used to have a lot of kids that now are going to Boone/Ryle/Cooper. Again, talent is thinned out.

It's not rocket science. Coaching is fine. Individual talent is good. Commitment is good. Just spread out. That simple.

I wouldn't group Campbell County High School with the best of NKY.:D

Interesting.....what exactly do you mean? What is going on? I really have no idea. I, and I'm sure the KHSAA and its constituents, would also love to know as well.

So, in your opinion, had Boone County stayed as one,the gap would be minimal right now?

Depends on your definition of minimal. It would be smaller without question.
