Which web browser do you use/prefer and why? I currently use Firefox.

Chrome. Love that the address bar also serves as the Google search bar. Very stable and works well with most websites.

Chrome at home, IE at work....no choice there.

I've never tried Chrome or Opera, and I dislike Safari in general. Explorer blows, so I go with Firefox. Less laggy and WAY less popups than Explorer.

Firefox at home and safari on my phone.

I hate Explorer.

Firefox is out. Chrome is most undoubtedly the fastest browser out right now.

Explorer at work, don't really have a choice, and Safari at home. Safari seems to work well with my Mac so I haven't tried anything else yet.

I use Firefox, but honestly, I dabble in all of the Big Four. I usually need to make sure that websites look right in each, and different clients have different browsers.

I definitely agree that Chrome is the fastest, but I don't think it has all the bells and whistles of Firefox... yet. My only complaint with Firefox is when it first comes up. Beyond that, I have no problem with it. Chrome is probably my second fave after Firefox, with Internet Explorer a distant third and Safari barely out of the starting gates.

Moved to Chrome two years ago maybe. Took a couple times around with the newest version of Firefox and didn't care for it all that much. Stuck with Chrome. I welcome our overlords from Google.

I think it was three years ago for me. But I'm with you on this one completely. I absolutely love Chrome.

Firefox first. Chrome second. As DragronFire does, I basically use all of the major ones, and for the same reasons. For recreational browsing, I only use Safari because it's on my Mac and I don't use Opera or IE unless I absolutely have to.

My only problem with Chrome is how it presents its options and content settings. If I need to turn off javascripting, which I do quite a bit, it's much easier in Firefox.

Firefox always.
